"Won’t provide care for child if it’s not profitable. They will not work with you to get proper care for your children. We got approval from our district for services for our child, they said Kyrene should be able to honor it. We were told by the first person that since they can’t make money off our son they probably wouldn’t provide the care. Our son is enrolled in class at a Kyrene school, but they refuse him the care he needs/deserves because it isn’t profitable. They are already profiting off my 2 children by them being in their school, it is awful that they do not provide the care that is within their means to give for children who need it. Terrible ethics."
"My son had a concussion during a track and field practice and when I talked to the Vice principal she cared more about the other kid that pushed my kid then my son"
"The transportation leaders are the worst. They contracted a company to provide some bus drivers for them this year, and they have done nothing but harass the bus drivers to quit the company they’re working for and work for them it became so bad that they were blackmailing drivers to sign on with them, or they would lose the routes that they have, and be put as a back up for whoever calls in sick, which would mean less hours, they would lie to the bus drivers in their face, and then turn around and embarrass them during meetings it was the worst place to work for, all the top personnel running the transportation department are the worst so be careful applying for this company. The reason why they get away with it is because they don’t have a transportation Director so they do what they want. They come in when they want and they are out all the time bus drivers are basically having to fend for themselves ."
"KSD and the school board are only interested in their own political agendas and cow-towing to the liberal insanity that blames COVID for everything. If adults are able to be in 100% of public places in the state without masks, and 99.9% of us are practicing this God given right to BREATHE - then our children should be allowed the same. They deliberately waited until the school year was started and kids were settled before making masks mandatory, knowing parents would not want to move their children 4 weeks into the school year. Several of us are pursuing legal action (suing them) and if we don’t win we will simply yank our kids, and subsequently their funding. They said when cases are “blah blah blah” it will be reconsidered. No one has mentioned that in months. If you are a public educator teaching children based upon your personal beliefs, you need to stay home."
"Obviously, everyone has different experiences with a school depending on the student and the Teachers (as well as the rest of the staff), but I feel that sending our daughter to Akimel A-al was the best decision we have ever made! We had a choice to keep her in our town for school or send her out of town, to a better school. I'm so happy we made this decision and so is our daughter. She LOVES this school, loves the teachers and she is doing very well with her grades. She actually enjoys going! WHAT!? They have homework, but most of it is done in class - one of her teachers would rather them spend time with family then to do a ton of homework every night! I wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not, but, it is showing in her grades that whatever they are doing, they are doing right!"
