Comprehensive Cancer Center at Desert Regional Medical Center

"So very sad. The doctor is fine. The nurses and staff are bottom of the barrel. My child got diagnosed with a certain type of cancer that needs to be narrowed down. Of course. The insurance approved the biopsies on a Wednesday. You can’t start treatment without a biopsy. My child was so sick. The biopsy should have been scheduled for the following Monday Tuesday or Wednesday, however, someone named “Dr Ho” was suppose to review the bloodwork before scheduling the biopsy. Dr Ho didn’t review my child and 7 other patients. And our doctor didn’t order the bloodwork needed in order to move forward with the biopsy. I had to kick and scream but I wonder if you didn’t have an advocate. I’m pretty sure your biopsy would get pushed back another week. The nurse for our doctor put in the wrong contact number and all the departments kept calling the other number to schedule. Not our number. Another person. Donna called and left a message we had an appointment Monday morning at 830 am. But that was the appointment we had the previous week. The doctors nurse called today to remind us of the appointments I had made myself for the additional bloodwork and biopsy but gave me the wrong time. I was transferred back to scheduling. Who clarified the time as an hour earlier. I’m just seeing a lot of chaos and uncaring staff. Disorganized with mistakes. And honestly. They don’t really seem to care. It’s a really sad sad world."

"Horrible they don’t care about us just want a check I’m going to someone new they haven’t even called me back to schedule another appointment my health was in danger and they acted like they did not care I left multiple messages for weeks never heard back my doctor does not care if I die I have kids!! It’s ok my new doctor cares I’m done with them"

"I have been a patient of the Cancer Center since 2005. I have always been treated well until the last visit in November when I had my yearly mammogram. The lack of empathy from the technician was so shocking to me, I have never been shoved into room told to put on gown and wham bam thankyou . Angry as hell was how I left this facility. Something has changed for the worse I'm sad to say."
