Whittier Elementary School

"their are a few good eggs here at Whittier, and i appreciate everything they have done for are son. But the school in my option doesn't have any supervision my son has not went a semester with out getting verbal or physical abuse by students and their are no one to witness this. this year my son was attacked by another student who threaten to r*** him during peer. today i get a phone call that some kid punched my son in the chest the same kid who took things to far while horse playing in line with my son and hit my son with a lunch bag ice pack on the head. If you send your children to school you expect safety. you really have to advocate for yourself an your kid because no one will guide you on what you should do if your kid is being abused whittier school. just some advise talk to your kids make notes report get the names of who you talk to make sure you get written statements make sure to request in writing that incident reports are filed in your kids file. whittier school is literally across the street from me. but i am going to take my son to another school i am so drained my heart cant take another call that something happened."

"I promoted last year and boyyyyyyy did I have a blast at the school. Not only that, the curriculum is engaging and rigorous but you're still having fun thanks to the great teachers I had. Mrs. Hovis-Diaz, Mr. Gavina, Mr. Lewis, and Mr. Cleveland. All the cool 16-17 8th graders are gone and now its boring. (in social terms) I definitely recommend this school! ^-^"

"My sister and Myself went to whittier from kindergarten-to 8th ...we had ups and downs with students but that happens everywere..staff are very nice and careing...however some can be the opposite...but saddly its in evey school were a student doesn't get along with a teacher...i had a great time here ...i made great friends...the school is middle class...its very private when u think about it...they have my ways of getting student into before and after school activities...over all great school"
