"Christine should not be teaching Kindergarten, or even working with children. Her attitude towards kids that don't catch on quickly is disgusting. We are both teachers, and our twins attended for 1 1/2 years at the tail end of the pandemic. When Christine and Eva first expressed that our son was struggling, we spent over $500 getting him tested at the center they recommended in Scottsdale. The testing was negative for learning disabilities. They refused to accept the result and even called the testing center to convince them they meant to tell us there was something wrong. The specialist even told them Eva to work with him, but she was too full of herself to listen to anything we were saying. It took us a while to also figure out that Christine had been excluding our son from whole group work and was treating him like he was stupid for almost the entire kinder year. His sister learned to read easily and was treated very differently by Christine. Our son had zero confidence and hated school when he graduated. THANK GOD his 1st grade teacher at our neighborhood public school (with twice as many students in her class as PVM), cares about her students and has completely changed our son's outlook on school. He goes to reading intervention and does tutoring, instead of being given the same failed activities over and over again like at PVM. We're 4 months into the school year and he has gone from knowing no sounds or letters to reading Bob books and is so excited about it. He is also excelling in math. Avoid this school and go to your local public school - the teachers are actually certified and have better systems in place when students are struggling."
"I have never been more humiliated, attacked and judged, more importantly my 5 year old daughter discriminated against by this school. After trying to get her in at 3 years old I was told she was to much of a distraction and so I waited and worked with her another 2 years, come time for kindergarten and I’m told over the phone that they cannot accept my daughter with her “special needs” mind you she had no special needs, only needs more time with understanding and responding to certain questions. I was told she needs to stay in her current school as they cannot accommodate her needs. Said we cannot accept her this year or next year! I’ve never felt more disgusted with a human being, they are shameful people and should have their school license pulled for the Unwillingness to help ALL students!!!!"
"Hi, I used to go to this school. My name is Zoe Wilson and I decided to finally set a review. The kids and teachers are nice, and I think it was awesome. I learned many things at this school and I think it's great. Besides from the fact I got force fed, that is the only thing that was wrong."
"The director of this school is rude and uncaring if your child has any issues at all they will not be accepted as an equal at the school. They will also blame the parents for an behavioral issue that the child has even if the child doesn't act that way with you or anyone else. When they call you to come pick up your child and he is saying that they hate him and that no one likes him and he has to sit by himself when he is only 3 is sad."
"My children attended PVMS from 2009-2016. From day one, I knew something was different about this school compared to all the other private preschool options available in the area. The environment was calm, organized and intentional. The teachers had high expectations of the children’s work and behavior, but did so in a loving way. My children always felt safe, cared for and enjoyed their time working with friends during the day. When we moved cross country in 2016, my children were enrolled in public school for the first time. It was immediately clear, their skills were far above grade level in most subject areas. PVMS gave them a solid foundation for learning and has contributed to their continued success. I will always be grateful for the years they spent there."
