"Why is it that the worst CVS Pharmacy in the state of Arizona is the closest one to my house. Constant problems trying to get a script filled. I never look forward to having to deal with anybody behind the counter either. Totally unhelpful"
"I genuinely love coming to this location, I’m always greeted so nicely! It’s always so clean ! Makes me feel so welcomed never had an issue, this cvs location has become one of my comfort stores ."
"Update: still horrible. I have 3 months of scripts sent at a time. Still wouldn't fill it, said it was an insurance issue, I was out of script, etc. Guy on the phone was extremely rude, but I was shocked that anyone answered at all. Maybe this is the new tactic to stop people from calling. Called insurance they said it was a problem on CVS end (shocking). Had an appointment and now I'm going through Optum and guess what? Got the three month supply in the mail no issues. Weird....if it was an insurance issue.... Old review: Horrible pharmacy. In the five or so years I've been using this CVS I don't think they've had the same pharmacy manager for more than a year. Pharmacy staff are totally incompetent and never answer the phone. I've been on hold for more than an hour multiple times. I've had prescriptions put on hold for order or prescriptions not called into my doctor for weeks at a time. This is especially bad because it's a time-sensitive prescription that if it runs out, there are some serious problems. I went to a completely different CVS and had a better experience. They said that the GM of this store doesn't care what the employees do, or how they treat customers, and there's massive amounts of turnover. They said that this CVS doesn't even answer the phone for their cross store calls."
"Why can't I select zero stars? I've been using this CVS (16th St & Baseline) for several years with very little positive to say. I would happily go elsewhere but it happens to have a drive-through (sometimes), is conveniently located, and accepts my insurance. I likely will go to a different pharmacy after my conversation today with the pharmacy manager, Emily. I'll start with the positive. They used to have a pharmacist who was not only friendly but cared about patrons, sadly Nathaniel moved on to brighter pastures - no surprise there. Now onto a summarized list of what takes place at this location: -drive through often closed with a sign to come inside -drive though narrowed down to one lane -unfriendly even rude and incompetent pharmacy and store staff -constant discrepancies between brick & mortar, online, text messages, the app, and even automated prescription information provided which culminates into -long hold times and then call disconnected on multiple occasions I'll wrap up with just today's experience: After coming across the typical inconsistencies, I called. I let the person who picked up know I had questions about a few of my prescriptions. She couldn't give me a timeline on a scrip that when last checked via their automated line, was "in process and would be ready by Sep 2nd". She told me that it wasn't in process until she just submitted it and she didn't know when it would be ready as she's "just filling in today". She asked for either my DOB or name or both at least 3 times. After some more confusing and conflicting information, I asked her for the name of the pharmacy manager. She said Emily. Let's take a moment and talk about Emily. She has reached out to me via email twice asking for my phone number regarding separate feedback surveys I've provided- yet she hasn't called me. And today was an especially rude awakening. From the moment she came on the line it seemed I was inconveniencing her. I still took a moment to explain why- all the contradicting info when it comes to my prescriptions. All in all, I found her to be curt and unapologetic. She made the all too typical we are busy and this is why statement. I said I can appreciate that, but these are the same issues that continue to take place and for a while and that I've been hearing about being busy for quite a while. She also stated that they take care of who they "see first" when it comes to prioritizing between in store and the drive through. And after I asked about the surveys (she hadn't followed up with me on), I asked about escalating my frustrations to which she then made a point of saying I had kept her on hold for 30 minutes while she could be doing other things. Interesting as I thought I was kept on the line for 30 minutes. Although I will continue to find It curious that she was taking the time to argue with me about time being wasted and once I realized and made the point of my time not being valuable, I knew I needed to get off the call. Now I know why nobody there cares about the customers or providing quality customer care. I will be escalating however based on my experience thus far with this CVS I highly doubt anything will come of it. if you can go elsewhere, please do yourself a favor and do so."
