"Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews for this place until I was about to walk in. I was in the room with Wayne for an hour, during which I was only given room to speak for about 5 minutes total. He would ask questions about my symptoms, cut me off mid-answer, and explain some inaccurate conclusion he jumped to based on the few words I said. Even when I tried to correct him, he seemed as though he didn't really believe me, and completely invalidated my lived experience of my symptoms. I did not feel like a single word I said during the session was heard or interpreted correctly. On top of that, for about half of the session he was just going on tangents about unrelated topics, like random anecdotes or fun facts about things that did not pertain to my mental health. It was a huge waste of time. If you want your experience to be validated and understood, I'd strongly recommend going somewhere else."
"I find Wayne to be very caring and also logical. He explains things in a way that makes sense to me, which helps me take the appropriate accountability for my own stuff and helps me let other people be accountable for their own stuff. He turns down the volume on my internal chaos, so I could listen to myself better. Life changing, for me and my daughter."
"Very unorganized practice. The doctor, though he cares, is ALWAYS late. He spends a lot of time talking about things not relevant to your appt. Which is fine, until you are sitting in the waiting room for 1 to 2 hours because he goes over time. We had a lot of problems with prescriptions not being sent to the pharmacy and having to go days without them because he wasn't very responsive. He asked why I no longer wished to use his practice after he skipped my telemed appointment. (He called once and for some reason it went to voice-mail. He didn't try to call back at all and just moved on. This was after I had waited for an hour for his call.) I explained all of this to him as politely as I could. Anyways, it apparently enraged him, so what I gather is that he doesn't want honest feedback or TO CHANGE for his patients and practice. Additionally, we got hit with a huge medical bill. We were never informed that our insurance wasn't being accepted until our bill was $2k (which we found out by getting the bill in the mail). I would honestly recommend anywhere else but here."
"Extremely slow, disorganized and unprofessional. If you have a medication changed or added, it WILL take 2-3 weeks to have it hit the pharmacy. I asked for the paper script when the blame went to the computer service they were using to handle their scripts. Wayne said he couldn’t do any paper scripts. When you call and leave a message, don’t expect a call back. Even when you say you are having an adverse reaction to a med. Trust your instincts and go elsewhere, this is not a professionally run office."
"I called this place Tuesday to try and set an appointment to speak with a therapist. The receptionist first told me I couldn't make an appointment because their system was down and would be down for a while. He told me to call back later. I asked, "Later today?" He told me no. Maybe 2-3 days which would make Friday the 3rd day. He told me they were open Mon-Friday 9-5 and when I asked should I call back on Friday he told me if I wanted to... He was very discouraging. I immediately thought, "What if this was my last hope at help?" Even still I waited til Friday just to find out it is closed! He could have told me that on Tuesday. Thanks a lot receptionist, you have once again succeeded in discouraging me, and making me feel as if there is no real help for people who need it."
