Reviews of Myers/Ganoung Elementary School
"I used to go here from 1997-1999. My 2nd grade teacher was Mrs.Brown; 3rd grade Mrs. Smith, and 4th grade Mrs. Hall. 3rd and 4th grade I had class in the portables, and for 4th grade, since my brother and I were in the same grade, he had Mr. Hall which was Mrs. Hall’s husband. I wonder if any of my old teachers are still there. I highly doubt it since it’s been 20 years, but it would be cool if any of them were still there. I actually had my first kiss at this school. I was in 2nd grade, and my girlfriend and I kissed under one of the portables’ ramp. I used to love going to school here. The two things I hated was that the monitor, Miss Paine, treated the kids horrible. She would yell at everyone, make kids stand in timeout, and if you were late to class, she would make you run laps around the school. Also, one of the teachers, Mr. Cardova, had this cactus that if you said a bad word, or got in trouble, he would make you kiss it. If he didn’t make you do that, he would make you jump up and down for several minutes as your punishment. It sounds crazy, but it’s actually true. Back in the 90’s, they didn’t care as much. Teachers and monitors got away with anything."
