Craycroft Elementary School

"Probably the worst school in Tucson. I don’t know if it changed from when I went in the 90s, but from their last grade I saw, and from the reviews I’ve read, I don’t think it did. When I went there for 1st grade in 1997, they would abuse the students. The monitors made the students stand outside for lunch and recess facing the wall for punishment. They would even yell and curse at students, and no one stepped up and said anything. It got so bad that we left the school because of how they treated the kids. My daughter was supposed to go here, but after doing research online, and after reading all the reviews, I refused to send her here and enrolled her at a magnet school. I drive 35 minutes every morning to drop her off, but it’s worth it."
