"I'm extremely saddened to have to leave Ford. We moved away from the area, there wasn't a bus that could pick him up and TUSD was taking too long to figure out a connecting bus. My son attended Ford from 2nd-4th grade. Mrs. Allums, Mrs. Pollick, Mrs. Govern and Mrs. Thornton are outstanding teachers and the office staff are the most wonderful group of ladies I've ever encountered in a school. And I do mean ever. Fords staff actually cares about the students that attend and about the parents. The office staff and his teachers are gave me, a single father, the confidence that my son would have the help he needs to succeed and I would have the support I needed. They have all been such a breath of fresh air and such a gift, I cried when saying goodbye to enroll my son into a new school. If I could take these ladies and hoard them as my son goes through school, they would all be my Mr. Feeny. Thank you, all of you, for everything you've done for my son. I know he's going to miss you as much as I will. Other TUSD schools and staff could take lessons from you. Thank you, so much"

"This school is horrible! The prinicipal yells and screams at the student's, shes is very rude and inconsiderate. I have 2 children that attend this school my son comes home complaining on a daily basis about how the principal and teachers nit pick at him and other students . It seems that when it comes to bullying they allow it to happen but instead of taking disciplinary actions against the bully they punish the other student for sticking up for them self. I will be withdrawing my children and going to another school !.. the behavior from the prinacipal and faculty is unacceptable! Do not send your kids to this school.."

"This elementary school has provided multiple negative experiences. I recently did a paper on elementary schools and bullying and this school came up in 13 of my interviews especially on the race and hate crimes not only from other students but from the faculty. 5 of those were from the current principal racially pinpointing African American students. Parents beware on this school and do not take your children's complaints lightly."
