"What a beautiful place the falls and the birds all the cacti beautiful place to hike and birdwatch"
"Such a nice experience and memories from my visit here in 2019 that I brought a friend here today. The paved paths and limited elevation changes were perfect for some with limited mobility. Even with the developed and maintained paths with numerous benches, the wildlife abounds in the area. We saw several different species of birds and a group of 6 deer where we were able to get nice photos. Good views to the West with the mountain range to the East. A short trip from I-19. The federal park pass can be used here or $8/day fee."
"Took the family to a nature walk. It was very nice weather and the kids had lots to do.. The trails were fun and nature is the best way to make family memories."
"Madera Canyon is a beautiful recreational area that is perfect for camping, picnicking, hiking, and bird watching. The fee for a one day pass is $8 and can be purchased at any picnic/trailhead area. Camping is on a first come, first serve basis and does not have reservations available. I recommend going to the southern end of the canyon for the best bird watching and hiking trails. The canyon has plenty of shade from the dense tree coverage and has a plethora of wildlife, especially birds! It's usually about 10-15 degrees cooler than Tucson, depending on how high up the canyon you are. This is a wonderful place to get away into nature and I encourage you all to explore it yourself!"
"There is an amazing variety of trails here.. For people of all abilities you will find something. Mount Wrightson is a 4000' climb be careful in bad weather. You can hike download or you can hike up high in the forest. There are maps available"
