"Nice guy but charged 47$ to switch a barrel nut. Pretty ridiculous as it took all of 10 minutes and none of his gun-smithing expertise. Also didn’t disclose the price until I asked him at the end. My fault for assuming something simple would be cheap."
"Absolutely excellent. Earlier this year, I had some factory rounds that were apparently loaded a bit hot and showed signs of over pressure. Wanted to have the weapon inspected to assure there was no damage. As I don’t live locally, the time I had for inspection was limited. I brought the rifle to OPGS on a Tuesday morning and they had it back to me the very next day with assurances the rifle was in fine shape. Could not have been more pleased with the quick service and attention. Highly recommended."
"Mario and Jose are right down the street from my place so it’s very convenient, but I’d drive across town for the services they provide for my guns. Mario schooled me up on some things I was doing wrong to my gun and showed me what’s up. A bit pricey but good to get some knowledge from. CAREFUL to not go anywhere else in Old Pueblo but to Mario & Jose @ OLD PUEBLO GUNSMITH SERVICE. Another guy in the area overcharges you to death. Thanks guys!"
