"SHE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE THE SINGLE STAR THEY MADE ME MARK TO BE ABLE TO POST THIS! This was an inhumane experience. I was diagnosed by our ER with a mass on my left ovary and my endometrium wall was too thick for my age. Apparently, two reasons for cancerous concern. I have an appt. with Dr. Stamaria who simply regurgitates what I already knew from the report I brought into her from the ER. She says she is going to schedule surgery and plans to remove my left ovary (no biopsy?) and perform a DNC. She schedules to perform another ultra sound on me 3 weeks from that office visit to see if the mass has grown. I was scheduled for the ultra sound on a day she was suppose to be there so I could at least learn about whether the mass has grown and I wanted to talk about whether they were going to do a biopsy. Wouldn't it be important to know if the mass is cancerous? I drove 2 hours each way to get there. The Doctor wasn't even there. I was promised a call by the next morning to discuss the fact that my mass HAD grown. I have been left hanging 2 days later. Still no call. I have talked to 2 different triage nurses and Dr. Stamaria has yet to return my call. Would you want this woman to perform surgery on you? Does she have no feelings for the individual that is being threatened with 2 cancerous possibilities and isn't receiving any knowledgeable information to either confirm or deny suspicions? She seems to be in the business of just collecting the insurance money and has no concern for her patients. This is another extremely sad healthcare story. Apparently, the only other people that have taken the time to write a review have also had terrible experiences with this doctor. Why should she be paid for a job with no follow through which can actually have an effect on a life? DO you want your baby in her hands?"
"Dr don't care about the patients she always seems like to busy or rather be else where I dont recommend her at all at the most precious moments of delivery she can care less I got a good Dr now who delivered my last son I'm very pleased with my new Dr ."
"I had the absolute worst experience with this Dr. I have thought about writing this review for months. I finally have the courage to tell my story. My delivery was tragic. The RN who helped during my delivery noticed my daughter was turned. Dr. Stamaria could have cared less and advised me to lay and push normally. After doing so for over an hour, my daughter was not moving. I asked for an episotomy, she denied my request. Minutes later, my daughter's oxygen was decreasing and it turned from a normal delivery to a very scary one. My daughter was stuck behind my pelvic bone. Something the RN noticed but not my doctor. I had people pushing on my stomach whilst the doctor was screaming at everybody because it wasn't working. The Dr. had to go and 'yank' the baby out of me ripping me terribly. My daughter was not breathing upon arrival into this world. After some oxygen she came to. All of this could have been avoided if the Dr. would have listened to me or the RN. I had an infection from the tear. I was in the ER a week later. I was not healing and every time I went into the office, I felt like the Dr. could have cared less about how I felt and what I was going through. It took my 6 months to heal from the tear. I firmly believe she was not clean enough during the stitch up. Please reconsider using this Dr. if you are a newly expecting mother. I wish I had more of a joyous story to tell. I will be scarred from this incident the rest of my life."
