"Dr. Maccleary-Price (Dr. MP) is one of the most caring and nice human beings Ive ever met which is what makes her a phenomenal doctor. She is easy to talk to, personable, understanding, patient, and caring. I am extremely picky with whom I receive medical treatment from, especially for OBGYN services! I went through MULTIPLE gynecologists and was disappointed by their bedside manners, how quickly they wanted me out of the room, and how little time they gave me that I refused to follow up with them again. As a provider myself, there are certain expectations I have for my patients that I expect to be reciprocated by my doctors, and I am by far pleasantly surprised by how Dr. MP took care of me while under her care. She assisted me even before my husband and I decided to have children by helping me with fertility issues. She then followed me very closely once pregnant, guided me through every step, and supported me through my very long and arduous labor. Not to mention, I had some complications during delivery and Dr. MP was there from beginning to end. She’s not one of those OBGYN’s you hear about who push for C-sections because it equals more $$. On the contrary, my labor was so long (had a really big baby), I begged her to cut me open and take the little monster out! But she was very supportive and encouraged me to keep going, which I am very happy I did. She gave me her cell number several months before I was due in case I needed to reach her at any time if I had any issues. She also made sure she was the one to deliver my baby and not just some doc on call. Even after I had my baby, she made sure to check up on me the next day in recovery while in the hospital to see how I and baby were doing. I was so sore I wasn’t able to even lift my baby from her little crib. Dr. MP went out of her way to swaddle my little baby for me because I was too physically exhausted. I don’t know about you, but in my opinion, its very rare to find a good doctor who goes that much out of their way for one patient. I will admit that I am one of those neurotic and anxious patients. I came to each appointment with a list of questions and asked her over and over again of what will happen when I have to deliver my baby. Dr. MP always made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and went out of her way to make me feel calm and safe about going through something so scary for a first-time mother, the delivery! In sum, I would definitely recommend Dr. MP for someone looking for a good and trustable long-term OBGYN who would make you feel safe and comfortable for all of your womanly needs- and God knows we have a lot of them!"
