"My first and last visit here was so disappointing. Pros: The staff and servers were terrific. And thank goodness for the tasty bread and butter! Cons: Unfortunately, the good service couldn't save the food, which was awful. I'm sensitive to overly salty food, but I'm convinced this restaurant used absolutely no salt or seasoning whatsoever. I ordered the Caesar salad, which wasn't good. No seasoning on the croutons. The "dressing" was just some white stuff. Thank goodness for the anchovies to give it some flavor. The lobster Mac and cheese had little to no cheese. The lobster was ok, but the dish needs to be renamed, "pasta in cream sauce". Please refer to the picture to see how liquid-y this was. I do not return food to the kitchen, because you never know what may happen when they "fix" it lol. I had a bite of my husband's gnocchi from his octopus dish. It had absolutely no flavor. Not even salt. He rubbed it in the sauce on the plate, which helped a tiny bit, not much. His ribeye had a tad more flavor, thanks to the sauce, but not much. It was kind of them to send a cake out for my birthday, which I appreciated. My recommendation is to call Jon Taffer, because this place needs to be on "Bar Rescue". It seems to be a nice neighborhood restaurant that maybe lost its touch over the years. I wish it success, but I will not be returning."
"We had our Thanksgiving dinner overv here and we ordered the sashimi and lobster bisque for appetizers, both are great. For the entrée we had the new york steak, very flavourful but its very tough to chew ( we made it medium rear and well done ) both are hard to chew, we have to slice it in small pieces. We added the sweet potato yam, very tasty. We also had some green beans, mushrooms with shallots, also very tasty. For desert we had the pumpkin pie, its not the best, i think people who don't like sweet desert will love this pumpkin pie, for me the pie is not sweet enough. The ambiance is very beautiful and the service is great."
"I've lived in Vegas for 45 years and have never heard of this restaurant. A friend recommended we try it for my birthday dinner. I now can't wait to go back again and again. The atmosphere and ambiance are classic. While there's a quaint bar area in the front, the main dining area in the back overlooks the lake. It's peaceful, romantic, beautiful, and classic elegance. Our waiter for the evening was Skylar. At our age, we've learned to appreciate a skilled waiter as opposed to just a server who takes your order and drops off your food. Skylar's attentiveness and attention to detail was impressive. His knowledge of the menu helped with final meal choices. If you go, request him! Finally, the food. There was not one thing we ordered that we weren't completely impressed with. My husband raved about the charred octopus while I finished off the Nikis Shrimp. We tried each others steak and salmon meals and were equally impressed. Feeling adventurous, we tried the Cauliflower and Raisins. Pure flavor explosion. The cauliflower had almost a candy crunch to the exterior and was served with soft, golden raisins. I could eat that every day. Be brave. Order it. You'll thank me. The perfect ending to a perfect evening was the dessert. Pumpkin Swirled cheesecake, Vanilla Bean Crème brûlée and decaf coffee. I can't say which we enjoyed more. This restaurant has just officially become our new favorite go-to for great food, great service, and a wonderful evening. Side note to this review. We were super impressed with the pricing. They could easily have charged much higher prices for the location, food quality, and service. It's refreshing not to feel price gouged after leaving dinner in an upscale restaurant."
"Would eat here again. The views were pretty and relaxing. There food was delicious. The servers were attentive and nice. They also has a live pianist that added to the ambience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner."
