"Great burger and fries. Wonderful people to talk about their military experiences."
"Been member here since walking in one night in 2015 after moving into Avra Valley. Its been up and down, but as with anything it's what you put into it. We are moving to be more family oriented. We are not just a cheap drink. The VFW has programs and we local projects. These include drill team rendering honors for our departed and gathering and making donations at the VA and State Home in Tucson. Our hall is open for rental. During the pandemic closure the inside was brightened. Bingo is back and open to community. Not the largest post in Pima County we do more than others. See if you qualify as veteran member or in the auxiliary. With more participation, together we can do more. We have members covering northwest Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley. We are Post 5990 Avra Valley - Marana."

"My family and I frequent this VFW Hall very often every Tuesday for bingo my mother and I. Every one there's like a part of our family they go out of their way to help out children families that are hungry or need clothing. This place is truly amazing. They even paid to go pick up my grandfather from Nevada when he didn't have the money to get home and a member drove with my mother to collect him. Amazing people and an amazing place!!"
"I've recently started meeting my VFW friends and it's one big happy family, and I'm proud to know them all. The members there have opened their arms and welcomed me in to the fold."
