"I was a member of American Republic for a number of years with no issues. On November the first they cancelled my policy with no notification! I contacted the company and they informed me that the reason was, that I had not made a payment in August, September or October 0f 2021! I contacted my bank and was able to establish that I had in fact made the payments in question. I faxed my bank statement to American Republic, then contacted them and was directed to a Supervisor Who acknowledged that the payments had in fact been made! She also informed me that they would not reinstate my policy because "Too much time had passed". I asked if they were going to reimburse the money that I had payed but not given credit for and was told they would not do that either! Be very careful doing business with this company! i"

"My Father was an Agent; he passed 12-3-2019. They took premiums on account for a dead man. (I did get partial refund) Worse, he and his heirs are is owed ongoing commissions for sales. The company lost 2 months of those commissions, and repeated calls, emails, contacts have given no relief, response, or remuneration. Hold waits are unacceptable. We get platitudes and unfulfilled promises. They appear to fall in the 'Greed First' category. If they treat their own this poorly, imagine how they treat their clients"
