About the Business
The Learning Center by Theracare is a therapy-based special education program located in Mesa, Arizona. Our team of certified teachers and experienced therapists work together to support your child's individual needs and guide their progress. We offer customized tutoring and skilled support services for children with disabilities, all of which qualify for ESA Funding.
We believe in teaching children the way they learn best, and our programs are tailored to each student's unique Yearly Learning Plan. Our specialized team is trained in child development, physical and cognitive delays, and evidence-based instruction. We offer a variety of programs including Orton Gillingham, Wilson, Touch Math, and more.
Families can create an individualized schedule that fits their student's specific needs, choosing days of the week, times of day, and student-teacher ratios. Group sessions require a quarterly commitment and are billed monthly, with exceptions for planned breaks. Safety is our top priority, and our staff is trained in behavior management and prevention.
We offer therapy services to extend your student's day, allowing for more free time during the week. Students who require assistance with toileting or feeding will need a paraprofessional present. Each student is required to have a Yearly Learning Plan and a current evaluation on file. Personal items should be labeled and stored in a cubby provided by the center.
