"Cynthia Tobin is my psych and she is what earned this review having ANY stars. If I could review JUST Cynthia, I'd give her 5 stars. She's kind, understanding, and I look forward to speaking with her. She's very wise. However the rest of JFCS, from the therapists to the run around phone system is trash. First I got a therapist who seemed like a first year student. "Oh I see your stressed. Breathe more." Case managment is a joke. Mine offered me all kinds of resources having my apply for rent assistance just to say they no longer offer it. You can never get a hold of who you need, phone system sucks. It really comes off as "you're not Jewish so you're a second class paitent here.""
"They dont write prescriptions for Adderal,Xanax,Ritalyn and many more. Basically the medications that are well known for helping people they refuse to write rx for. Avoid this place at all cost."
"Amazing facility! Staff really goes above & beyond for their clients. I got my ged for free threw them years back, as well as they paid for my cna. They offer tutors, job programs, clothes, food boxs, free bus passes, life/skill classes, etc. I gained a lot of knowledge & skills to help me be successful prior to turning of age. Not many of these out there, I recommend them to any one who has aged out of the state system."
"Despite my disagreements with this programs recent choices in my services they were great and supportive. They should hear their clients out a little better however the goals and decision making and job training was a great benefit."
