"If I could give less than 1 star I would. The location is great and that is the main reason we moved here. However they do terrible renovations. Their idea of renovating is painting everything white. Things that shouldn’t be painted are painted. There are so many coats of paint on the door that our bedroom doors won’t close. The bathroom tub was painted white gloss and it is dangerous to stand in and a hazard. They painted the bars in the closet to where the hangers can’t even slide. There is also a hole in the back of the door. Our kitchen sink handle comes off. There is a terrible musty smell throughout the home that won’t go away and on top of that. There was an infestation in our fridge. How you could call a place move in ready and charge people $1700 is beyond me. If you can avoid living here, I would advise just that."
"I lived here for a year and really enjoyed it. I had no issues and i loved the location. My only issue was a random mysterious smell i would get in the apt which another neighbor noted as well. The management team were sometimes a little slow to respond and their number wasn’t always easy to find, but they were always friendly. I think this is a nice place to live if you want somewhere close to the light rail, downtown and a reasonable commute to anywhere in the valley. Also loved the 70’s style."
"While I enjoy the location and interior of the apartment, the noise is often unbearable due to how old the building is. It's a problem when you can clearly hear and understand conversations that are happening in the apartment above you or in the courtyard. It's a shame that they spent all that time doing renovations (including floors) and didn't bother to add soundproofing panels to at least the upstairs floors. I'm sure if the owners had to spend one night here, they would be fixing the issue immediately. I look forward to coming home after a busy day to a quiet and relaxing home, and this place just doesn't offer that."
"I actually moved in three months ago, and the community is still not gated as was promised. Transients are on the property daily, bikes were stolen from the bike cage, cockroaches, expensive water & trash fees! Kids are let loose in the courtyard to yell and scream each evening and as it's an old building the sound travels everywhere. No peaceful evenings here! Tenants seem to be continually moving in and out and there is considerable ill feeling between the tenants and the management of this complex. I think it has potential but without Baron Properties making an honest effort to provide the atmosphere that was promised when we signed on the dotted line, I hold out little hope. I think I made a mistake!!!!"
"Undergoing renovations and rent increases of over 40℅. The area is off of a light rail stop and next to a restaurant/bar. Lots of commercial delivery vehicle traffic at all hours. Many vagrants frequently enter the property to sleep in vacant units as well as break into vehicles.. $950 for a 1 bedroom with no washer and dryer.? On a side note they are doing a complete rebuild of the pool. So if you are an avid swimmer I guess the over inflated rent should not be an issue"
