"As a first - time home buyer, I was nervous about purchasing my first home. Honestly, Layne Lundeen and the Tanque Verde Trio team did an exceptional job every step of the way! While searching for a home, they were patient and straightforward. All of the details of the sale and closing were smooth, clear and easy to manage. It is without hesitation that I give my highest possible recommendation to the Tanque Verde Trio - 5 out of 5 Stars Recommend! ⭐️"
"Laurie has always gone above and beyond for us in our house and land purchases. Extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I know I can trust the paperwork when it's done by her. Layne is also always so accommodating, friendly, and full of helpful insight. We've used them many times over the years and hope to use them many more times."
"Highly recommend Scott Carlson as your selling or buying agent. Scott is really responsive and professional. All around he exceeded all of our expectations, and I’m really hard on anyone who provides services; my standards are hard to meet. The entire team has been very kind and patient. Best in Tucson for sure."
"Laurie Hassey states on her website, “I’m always ready to … provide the information you need to make good real estate decisions.” That, unfortunately, was not my experience. In September 2019, I purchased a home through Long Realty where it became clear after closing that the seller had taken steps to hide a collapsed sewer line under the house and then signed a Disclosure stating that there were no known sewer issues on the property. Soon after closing, the sewer began to back up regularly with geysers in my kitchen sink. Upon investigation, I discovered that the Seller had hired a plumber to scrub the kitchen line immediately before the house was put on the market. The line was nearly collapsed and it cost almost $9000 to re-route it around the outside of my new home. Since I had requested a sewer inspection under the house during escrow and it came back “in good condition,” and I had the Disclosure from the Seller, I was, frankly, in shock. During the escrow period, I had requested that a sewer inspection be ordered on the property because it is an older home (1950s) and despite my being new to town, I had heard that galvanized and lead piping would degrade under the soil over time. I wanted the lines checked under the house. My realtor, Laurie Hassey of Long Tanque Verde Trio, ordered the sewer inspection on my behalf and then instructed me to contact the plumbing company to pay for it. My trust was misplaced. Ms. Hassey did not order the inspection I requested (of the pipes under the house) but of the main line out to the road. When I received the inspection paid bill (no report) stating that the lines were clear, because of my lack of knowledge and experience, I thought that the inspection had included all the lines under the house as I requested. During a consult with an attorney, I was told I should contact my realtor and have them assist me with writing a demand letter and request mediation with the seller. When I contacted Ms. Hassey, she quickly pushed the matter forward to her Designated Broker, Cathy Erchull. When I expressed dismay at the fact that the inspection I had (verbally) requested was not done, Ms. Erchull argued that Ms. Hassey was not responsible to know any more than I did about sewers and inspections. I disagreed. Any realtor with decades of experience should know that inspections differ and that specifics need to be requested. I did not know that at the time because I was a buyer from out of state with virtually no real estate experience – I had hired a realtor with decades of experience because I expected she would know the details of such things and protect the inexperienced buyer (me) from making any major fumbles. After this argument, Ms. Erchull simply stated that unless I had proof in writing of what I had requested, her firm was not responsible for the consequences. Clearly, my trust had been misplaced in Ms. Hassey. And then, after being bullied by Ms. Erchull, Long Realty altogether. So no, Ms. Hassey did not provide the information I needed to make a good real estate decision. After being treated with indifference and bullying, Long Realty has completely lost my trust and my business."
"Tanque Verde Trio is a great team who helped me buy a house. They put me together with a Buyer's Agent who was my primary contact and the rest of the team was wonderful support. I will call them when I'm ready to sell and buy again. Thank you for finding my dream home in this crazy market."
