"We don't recommend this complex. Many residents don't pick up after their pet and they park illegally and unsafely and nothing gets done about it no matter how many times the office says they'll take care of it. They just send out warning emails one right after another. Among other maintenance related issues. It took calling about our AC no less than 4 times, because there was clearly something wrong with it, before they actually fixed and replaced anything and it still doesn't seem right. Not to mention constant water shut offs due to broken pipes. Brittany is so sweet and amazing but the rest don't seem overly helpful. We already know we won't renew and suggest others look elsewhere unfortunately. Update: The AC that was replaced is now leaking again. Not looking forward to 300 dollar electric bills again. Don't rent here, folks."

"You want to see what this place really looks like? Drive to the back of the complex like did. Visiting a freind, I am appalled by the condition they keep this place in. First off, the apartment complex looks nothing like the photos. And the inside of the apartments look old and not taken care of by maintenance. I cannot speak for the newer apartments, but the older apartments have popcorn ceiling that collects dirt and dust like crazy! their cabinets are made of this material that flakes away. The kitchen is made for one person only. I can put my back to one counter and lift my leg to touch the other. It is super tiny. They also have a roach infestation that the pest people can never seem to get rid of. I should not be worried about leaving my dinner on the counter and roaches crawling out of god knows where. (Mind you this is in a clean apartment, where the freind is obsessed with cleanliness.) The new color they are painting this complex is a waist of tenants money. And they obviously hired idiot's to paint this place because they are leaving paint everywhere. I saw paint all over the walkways, the gravel, the plants, everything. On top of that, they are not covering the cars that are in front of the buildings, and so all those cars now have paint dripped or splattered on them. They leave their construction equipment everywhere for someone to trip over. And honestly this place should be in compliance of some sort of ordinance. This place is located "off the beaten path" if you will, so I could see how it might be safe. You get what you pay for I guess. And management doesn't seem helpful."

"Not a bad place to stay at all! Safe, convenient, affordable, with polite and responsive management. I’m reading some of the negative reviews on here and getting the impression that some of these people have never lived in an ACTUALLY bad apartment complex before… Valley View is the Heaven of affordable housing in Tucson compared to what’s out there on the market right now."

"Lived here 2 years. First year good. This last year has been absolutely horrible! Hot water/water has been off on average 1-2 days a week. NO COMPENSATION for residents. Management doesn’t care. Regional manager/director doesn’t answer emails. If you live in say building 1and you have a car you don’t use, you can park it In front of ANY BUILDING. Security cameras DO NOT cover all buildings. Parking is atrocious. Glad I will be leaving soon. This is an edit. I HAVE spoken with the manager directly and emailed L.C. The regional manager 3 times with no response. My review of this place has not changed. Management is just apathetic!!! My fear is retaliation when it comes time for my “exit walk through” I realize I’m probably pegged as a complainer by the manager, but I have heard straight from the employees, the manager is NOT a good person!!! I totally expect a full refund as I live alone and have no pets. Carpet is NOT damaged and it should be cleaned in between tenants, not charged to tenants!!!!"
