"Long time resident and mostly pleased at Canyon Oaks. Unfortunately the swimming pool poses a potential threat for many older and disabled residents. Each gate has an outside latch with varying degrees of difficulty for those leaving the pool. Seemingly in violation of the American Disabilities Act, anyone shorter than five foot tall or confined to a wheel or powerchair is trapped without a companion or a good Samaritan strolling by to let them out. Perhaps not a huge problem now...but may be when temps soar to 100 and folks with compromised health will be at risk as there is no shade available without going down a few steps. . I spoke to property manager Andrea about this on Feb 1 and Sierra at HSL on February 5. Still not resolved. Expect that this is resolved soon as I know that HSL highly values resident safety."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE . Management is completely and utterly very disrespectful. I was just doing my laundry mindin my own business and all of a sudden 4 managers that were walking around saw me and completely profiled me in any wrong way they could and came in and before asking me if i live here told me I need to leave, as I proceed to ask why they were very rude and bombarded me with questions and again just being so unprofessional and rude this isn't the first time something like this has happened with management so just thought everyone should take that into consideration that you most likely will be judged wrongfully by them."
"Huge thank you to the friendly staff for making my move-in, as well as my move-out process, very smooth. The whole team is so patient and worked with me to make sure I was situated. Big thanks to Cathy especially, she went above and beyond. Peaceful environment, enjoyed my stay there."
"This is the worst place to live! My tires got stolen! They don’t have cameras. This place is infested with roaches! I kept my apartment so clean and they would still come! They were coming from the light from the kitchen where the electrical wires are at. My first day moving in and they couldn’t even get the carpet clean or even new carpet it had stains of pee! My neighbor would have trash outside the front door everyday and the management is terrible do not live here!! Unless you want room mates that are roaches!"
