El Conquistador Apartments

"I had a lot of struggles with this place. Initially moving in no one showed me around or even went over anything with me. I just so happened to walk in when they were getting through telling one gentleman the policies. And basically said " what she was saying" . I moved in and filled out the form so that I'm not liable for anything that was already broke. Upon moving out nobody took any copies of the key cards or anything I walked in to the office and one lady came out of the background and said that is it. And because it wasn't signed and dated. I am now being charged for rent for the days after I left... which is against the law I might add. Holding one accountable for rent when I wasn't even living there. So ⚠️ becarful. Originally they said I had dated my 30 day notice that I was being charged then the reason changed upon asking for a itemized receipt. They are scammers and try n get you for things that don't make sense They said there was damage to the bathtub. But I was trying to get them to go re paint it for the longest. It wasn't broken or missing anything just needed to be repainted as the bathroom paint was chipping. From the beginning. Not to mention I have locked myself out of my own apartment twice with my phone inside my apartment. Unable to get in because I did not have the app access more. Did I have my key card. In maintenance never answered me. Nobody ever answered me. I had to wait until monday came around to get into my house The service there was terrible I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's over priced and neglectful to their tenants. I had a wasp hive growing outside my front door . And they made a seem like it was not a problem they were upset I told them on a Tues as the insect guys come on Monday. At the time I worked 12 hour shifts Sat-mon so I thought it was hilarious they were so upset that I couldn't work around there schedule. Another of the many mediocre moments with them. I rented 2 years because it was an ideal location I Originally thought it was just a first bad year but now I know to never rent with greenwater again!"

"Short story: I've really enjoyed living at El Conquistador Apartments! Long story: The office people are friendly, attentive and professional. The grounds are beautiful with lots of large trees, green grass, flowers, shrubs and plenty of paved walking paths, it feels a like a park summer through fall and winter. It's adequately lit at night and typically quiet after 10:00 pm. The apartments near the street do have a significant amount of traffic noise but gass and groceries just across the street make up for it and areas further back from the street are much quieter. There are a few families with children and there's a large play structure and outdoor gym, pool and hot tub, basketball, small fenced soccer court and charcoal grills throughout the complex. Laundry is operated by refillable card and there's a twenty-five cent per gallon water machine too. The apartment complex is on-leash dog friendly and there's a dog park a half mile away with a huge field and children's play structure too. I haven't seen any insects aside from one grasshopper the whole six months I've been here and absolutely no rodents or mold, very pleased about that! The maintenance and cleaners seem to do an excellent job, the laundry room and grounds are clean and well maintained. My studio is one of the "renovated" ones, new vinyl wood flooring, black appliances, stainless steel fixtures and a flattering grey-ish brown paint that goes well with most decor styles, you can totally make it what you want. I totally love my studio, it's small but plenty of room for having a guest over without stepping on them, the kitchen is tiny and adequate, I do some baking so got a small bar table for a little more counter space. The whole complex is gated, including amenities and there's either a key card or cellphone operated Bluetooth key system which is pretty convenient once you get the hang of it. Usually plenty of free parking and covered parking you can rent too. It's a great place to live and I'm super grateful to the amazing office staff for their friendly help too."

"Terrible service and management. They have six projects going on with heavy equipment that starts at 6AM every weekday. They told me not to park on the north side during repaving. I parked on the west and still was moved. Luckily they didn't fully tow my car and just moved it. I said that's fine I'll just go find it. The office lady had the nerve to say it'll cost $25 for moving your car. Haha yeah right! The front ladies are rude and should count their blessings they have a job...for now"

"I've been living here since Sept 1 and I really like it. The kitchen in mine is older and not so attractive, but the apartment is clean, the grounds are clean, the neighbors are quiet (and super nice). The management plus workers are really awesome and fix things fast. While the size is a challenge for me after moving from a house I'm getting used to it. We are located in a great spot. You can walk or use public transportation easily if you don't have a car. Plus, they have a very nice pool too."

"The complex is great. I have had no trouble with management other than the fact that if you request something, don't expect a response in the time frame that you want it. It's not a negative but it can be a little irritating to have to constantly go up there to find out what's taking so long. Also, the lack of notification when they turn off the water is kind of annoying. It's only happened once but they put it at the bottom of the stair case outside your apartment hoping that you'll notice it. Truly though, in the end the location is great. Right next to just about everything you need for convenience. Banks, shopping centers, restaurants and specific services. Great events are held really close to this area to like the Rodeo and parades that were held in February. I would highly recommend moving here as even the residents keep to themselves and are all to nice enough to ask you if there volumes of there televisions are too loud. I would recommend this apartment: El Conquistador, to just about anyone. :)"
