Dignity Health AZ General Hospital Emergency Room - Goodyear

"Disappointed, waited 2+ hours, not seen, not checked on, until I used call light, I was told "there are 7 rooms here" and doctor now has a "procedure" and not given an estimated time before I would be seen by the doctor, I then overheard someone talking with different patient stating it could be a 45 minute wait for him.There were staff at station, laughing and discussing other patients the whole time I was there. The doctor was more concerned about someone who was no longer there and was being seen at alternate facility When I left, people were sitting at the station/desk and never asked if I needed anything, where I was going or acknowledged that I was leaving. I have been here before and received exceptional care, but this night, it was well below the standard of care."

"Went to Dignity Health ER in Goodyear this morning. I would like to recommend this place to anyone needing emergency care. Checking in was fast & easy & receptionist was very nice. The nurses Stacey & Kasia were the best. Making sure we understood everything. They were better than the Dr's office I was going to at explaining & helping. Dr Godbolol was very good too. We were less than 2 hours at the facility. Most of that was waiting for lab results. Thanks to a great staff!"

Aaron her nurse and Dr. Smith were so good to her and made her laugh and genuinely took their time with her. All I can say is thank you for all the fantastic service here and should I ever need to return to a hospital it will be here!"

"Wonderful experience in this ED from the front desk associate (with the orange shoes!) who signed me in, all my nurses (including Stacey), Connie the radiology tech, and especially Dr. Gin-Shaw. I was treated with utmost respect and compassion. Dr Gin-Shaw nailed my diagnosis from her thorough assessment and the diagnostic tests that confirmed her suspicion. Dr Gin-Shaw checked back throughout my visit and continually educated me. Best ED experience ever!"

"As most people do, I usually hate the ER. Today, while playing basketball, I was unfortunate enough to fracture my finger… into the joint. I have had enough bad experiences in the past that I was weary about going in. Dr. Smith and the team at Dignity on Estrella Parkway were absolutely incredible. While he didn’t have to… Dr Smith took the time to talk to me, listened to me… and then came in and explained exactly what happened… gave me a referral and got me out the door before shift change which was awesome. The nurses were all absolutely amazing… and the registrar was the nicest woman I have ever come across in an ER waiting room :) Even the radiology technician was kind and caring. While I may need surgery in the near future… it is the first time I have ever been grateful I went to an ER and if (heaven forbid) I need to go again- I will absolutely be utilizing this one."
