"After just two visits I’m already going to switch to a different OB. I’m 15 weeks pregnant and this is my second pregnancy, I had a different OB where I lived before so I knew what to expect. Also keep in mind Ive had to bring my 2 year old to all my appointments. First of all I think the biggest issue is the organization. The intake form took me over 30 minutes to do on the iPad and then after I gave it back I was given a another set of paper forms to essentially put all the same exact information down which was incredibly annoying because meanwhile I had a toddler and there is literally no space or toys for kids to play with in the tiny outdated office. Then I sat there for almost 45 minutes past my appointment time before I was called back. Which leads into the next major problem. There is no respect for the patients appointment time. The first time I went in, I had been there over 2 hours after which I literally had to walk out before they even came back to do my bloodwork because my toddler was going crazy and I had not anticipated him to wait that long. So I had to make a second appointment and when I went in that time to simply do bloodwork (no ultrasound or anything) it still took almost 2 hours! My second appointment It was almost an hour past my appointment time before my doctor even walked into the room, and she spent less then 5 minutes with me talking about some issues only to say she was going to refer me to somebody else instead of giving me any sort of thorough attention physically. Additionally for both appointments every time another nurse would come in the room I would have to clarify with them what I was getting done because they somehow never got the memo from the receptionist or the doctor and the confusion on their end left me concerned with how operations were being handled on the backend. Finally the last straw was the lab tech who took my blood work said my insurance was inputted incorrectly which I thought explained the 400 dollar bill I received in the mail for my first pregnancy appointment, however when I asked the receptionist she rudely started to claim that they don’t accept my insurance to my utter confusion because I found them on my insurance network provider website. Then by what authority she started asking me whether I got my insurance through the state or through the marketplace or an agent (as if that information is somehow relevant or as if I could change it at this point?) which only confused me more so I left frustrated thinking that the bill I received now wasn’t going to be covered so I immediately called my insurance and my insurance explained that they were in fact in network (don’t know why the receptionist thought she was an insurance expert) and that I should’ve only been billed roughly 160 dollars as they had received the claim and covered most of the cost. In summary the billing department, the receptionist, and the nurses and doctors and the lab techs all seem to be extremely disorganized and confused as to what’s going on and it left me feeling like I was just another numbered patient in line. I actually liked Kylee luchesse but when everybody is that late the doctors and nurses end up rushing through things and me and my baby’s care is not prioritized. Also Even though this isn’t as important the office is outdated and crammed and neither me or my child are comfortable."
"Every time I call or schedule/reschedule an appointment it always seems like the biggest inconvenience to the receptionist I was placed on caller 8 a few times and got hung up on before I could even talk to someone once she took my appointment down I couldn’t even ask her a question or two as hurrying me up and always with attitude every time… I have important questions that the women’s health care portal can’t do about and rarely see my assigned Dr at these appointments. I’m a few months from being due and so close to changing providers"
"Erika and Dr. Huish are the best. I've been going to this office for almost 3 years now. I live almost 30 minutes away, but it's worth the drive. Erika takes her time with you and always makes you feel heard. Dr. Huish did a great job following my pregnancy and with delivery. As I was delivering my son, the nurse told me Dr. Huish always delivers his patients' babies. I had peace of mind with that. He is very kind and respectful. The only thing that has been a little rough is communication via phone. In the past, I have called the MAs and never received a call back. I thought I would receive a call back because I was concerned about high blood pressure readings while pregnant... no response. Overall, it's a great office. Best I've found! I appreciate them."
"A 5 star review isn’t enough to describe how incredible Dr. Huish is! I transferred to his practice at 25 weeks pregnant from out of state. I have felt so well taken care of by him and his staff. He is the most genuine, caring and compassionate doctor I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He has listened to all my concerns and never let me feel alone in my worries, always listened and made my questions feel valid. I will forever appreciate the fact that he came into the hospital to deliver my baby at a time he wasn’t on call. It made the experience so much more special, having my OB there delivering her, knowing I was in great hands. I have never had an OB come in to deliver my previous children, I always just got whoever was on call. He checked on me in recovery as well. Overall.. I’m grateful I found Dr. Huish! Just wish I would have found him sooner! If he is still practicing and I have another baby, I’ll be returning to him without a doubt. 10/10 best OB, without a doubt. I’ll return for all my gynecological care as well. He is a wonderful doctor."
