"Clearly, I should have checked their rating prior to going. I took my elderly mother there when I found that her blood pressure was extremely high (178/101). They did find that she had a UTI, but pretty much blew off the blood pressure issue. They acted as though I had over-reacted. After contacting her primary physician as soon as they were open, we were instructed to come in immediately as it was considered an emergency. Additionally, while we were there, a little girl (8-10 years old) and father came in for her issue. I listened for a good ten minutes to her screaming and crying that she didn't want a shot. When I exited our cubicle, I saw that they were trying to hold her down. I started looking up videos and said to the nearest nurse, "Y'all should distract her." I was told that it was a privacy concern and I needed to return to my cubicle. When I suggested again that distraction rather than arguing or forcing her would be best, I was told that I needed to go back or I would be asked to leave. What kind of medical professional ignores the possible life-long fear that could be created through their method. I was shocked. I'll never go back. Edit: Today (two weeks later) I remembered that I was to call them. I did but couldn't get past the automated system. I was told to send an email...uh?!"
"Dr banda and the team he works with are nothing short of exceptional. I am a Medicaid patient and my insurance covers my bills so I didn’t have any issues with the billing department, unlike these reviews. I came in for severe neck pain and was relieved to find the cause: cervical lordosis. I couldn’t figure out why my back and spine had been hurting and one morning I simply turned my neck to the right and heard alarming popping. The diagnosis of cervical lordosis bought me relief and now my PCP and I can figure out the next best steps.. This emergency department was extremely generous and kind towards me. They took extra time to explain my care and discharge plan a few times since my anxiety sometimes makes me process something but then I completely forget the plan and next steps. They were very patient with me and I left feeling very confident I had taken the right steps to manage my health and with a team that works very compassionately when it comes to the issue of pain and chronic pain. As a 29 year old, my pain was taken SERIOUSLY and I couldn’t thank dignity health for the relief they provided me. I will definately be back and be recommending Dr banda and the team! Couldn’t be more grateful for the experience I had here!"
"I love this urgent care the best thing I can say about them is they don't keep you waiting forever. They are understanding and kind.. the doctor is seen today was just super, Dr Crismon. She was extremely through and took time to listen to me I felt heard and that she dotted all I's and crossed all T's .. today was actually one of the best experiences iv has since iv berm coming. Thank you Dr Crimson for helping me get better .I really appreciate your care and bedside manner."
"This is generally my go-to urgent care place, but I was kind of horrified by my experience today. I went in for a non-illness related thing, but I still wore a kn95 mask because I knew there would be lots of sick people in the waiting room (some wearing masks themselves, some not). What I was NOT expecting is that none of the staff I saw - including the doctors and nurses - were wearing masks. I was being told how high their covid positivity rate is right now, so we know every single person who works there has been exposed - and also the flu - and like whatever else. Medical professionals “should” know that you can be contagious before you show symptoms. If they don’t care about getting sick or getting their families sick - whatever- but they are literally going around potentially spreading flu to the covid people, covid to the flu people, and now everyone is also exposed to whatever other stomach bug is going around. I got the care I came in for, and my appointment was honored, although getting care took awhile once I was called back. I am fine with waiting my turn, especially since I was in a cleaned room by myself. But my goodness - the medical staff need to stop being potential disease vectors."
"Wish I could give zero stars. My husband went here because he had shingles, he lifted his shirt and they said yep that’s shingles and sent him on his way in less than 20 minutes. After charging our insurance our insurance paid over $500 they said we still owed $375. We requested an itemized bill and was never given one. My husband caved and finally paid. Now over two months later we received another bill. This time the bill showed a completely different amount and our insurance company paid over $500 but we supposedly still own $320 now? My husband in his research found that based on what they charged less what insurance paid we technically over paid by $204. Now they keep saying it’s going to take 72 hrs to research further when you know damn well if we owed them it would take them 2 seconds? He said he would call every day till it’s resolved. Now you can’t get through to billing department. Convenient don’t you think? Please go anywhere but here!"
