"Hi, Dr C is by far the best I have ever had. Liz and Dr C take such an interest in my life to see what might be affecting my health, do the testing, and then talk about the right course of action. They are caring, real and I cannot speak more highly of them."
"From front office to back office it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was a new patient but felt like I had been coming there for years!"
"Going here for a few years now and I absolutely love them! They feel like family and the way they keep up with their patients makes you truly feel important."
"Alright so my wife and I have been holding off on this review until the process played out but it's about that time. Back in october my wife visited this doctor with fairly minor symptoms like a sore throat and cough. Our original doctor had moved their office about 30 min away so we were just looking for someone close to try out anyway. Everything with the visit itself was okay and Dr. Chukwurah had my wife take a viral panel with sonora quest. Thats where everything went downhill... A few months later we get a bill from sonora quest for $925 and a bill from Dr. Chukwurah's office for around $150. Insurance had stated that the viral panel was considered experimental or investigational. Now I know the medical system in this country is all kinds of messed up and intentionally complicated but our issue with this office was how difficult it was to get them to do anything to assist afterwards. Calling them got you nowhere as they never pick up or return calls so every time i had to speak with them I had to drive there. Combined with there nearly nonexistent office hours it's a wonder how they stay open (last time i checked only 2 or 3 days a week) Anyway long story short for the next 4-5 months I was very frustratingly bounced back and forth between my insurance, this doctors office and sonora quest and everyone just wanted to point at someone else. One of the most frustrating things is when my insurance, sonora quest and myself requested doctors notes be sent to my insurance they were HIGHLY resistant for some reason claiming it was against some rule which to everyone else in the process seemed incorrect. There is more details then I can reasonably type here but in the end if this practice is doesn't understand how to make sure a simple visit for a sore throat and cough doesn't result in a $1100 bill then we personally cannot recommend them. That paired with the very limited hours as mentioned and poor communication means we for sure will not be back. If you do go here make sure you are very careful to ask for estimated cost up front for any test or things of that nature. In response to this claim "We have requested several times for you to have the insurance contact our office so we can help. As of today, we are still waiting to hear back from you or the insurance." That is simply untrue. Our insurance tried to contact you for medical notes several times and never received a response and when I went in myself to provide you the number to fax too you refused and said it was against your policy. You then pointed me to billing coordinators at Sonora quest who according to them also couldn't get through to you later on when they tried. At that point the hassle of communicating with your office outweighed any help you provided and we pursued other options to appeal the claims. And yes obviously you have no control over lab claims or what insurance approves but you do have the ability to advise or warn patients when you are suggesting a test or treatment that could be costly or offer to try and verify insurance coverage prior to doing it."
"I have never reviewed a doctors office before but this place and everyone that works there is so so kind and welcoming! I am someone who avoids medical clinics unless I am dying. But they were so friendly and so nice Im honestly now looking for reasons to make more appointments! I am so glad this is my new home clinic. And FEMALE DOCTOR!! What more could you want."
