"Wow.... Filled out a request for an appointment & they've called me several times, without leaving a voicemail, & a week+ after I filled out the form (and already had found a therapist who answer way quicker than that). Then proceeded to schedule me an appointment, without talking to me. Then called me several more times, back-to-back-to-back again. Terrible experience & I haven't even been a patient, nor would I ever now!!!"
"This place is a nightmare, We are supposed to trust our children and the sensitivity of their delicate development to these "professionals." Save yourselves more problems to slove after using their services and find another option."
"Do Not Try To Go To Or Trust This Company!!! I have never been so disappointed or disrespected by any business or company ever in my life. I have been dealing with some issues with my 12 year old son that have led me to need to seek counseling and possibly psychiatric care. I reached out to Lifeline Professional Counseling for many reasons. They have a office 2 minutes from my house, state they offer in-person appointments they have psychiatric services on site and they accepted my insurance. I called and finally got a appointment set up to get my son a intake aappointment. Spent my time filling out the paperwork requested and spent about 30 minutes on the phone with Itzel. My son spent close to a hour opening up about his issues with Elliana as well as myself explaining my distressing concern for the situation. She recommended he be started in services immediately! However my family has a extremely busy chaotic schedule. They started with only offering a 7pm Tele-health appointment which is unacceptable on a school night in my opinion for children. My house is up super early and that is just too late. I also wanted my son to be able to speak to someone in person. I was more than willing to make time or put this as a priority but absolutely needed to be able to speak to someone about scheduling that would work for my family. Elliana stated that a admin would have to get back with me to get my son scheduled. No one ever reached back out. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES!!! Over the course of a week I left 3 voice-mails and even showed up to their Tempe location to which I found a open door and no one inside at the desk or at the facility on a Friday. A facility for mental health you would not only think the phones would be a priority, but also as someone who works in customer service I have never worked anywhere where is was not everyone’s job to see that the phones are answered and to not return voice-mail for a patient who has already completed intake is just completely rude and disrespectful! I did not leave a email as I do not have time to go back and forth especially over the course of days, I needed to be able to speak to a live person so I could work out our schedule. This company has waisted my time and my sons and I am back at square one trying as a single parent to get my son help. I have left complaints with my insurance and will leave this review for this company on every site I can think of so someone else does not have to go through the stress. I would absolutely give 0 stars. UPDATE: I had to go up to the location to get Elliana who completed my son's intake to call me back. She finally did with a half ass apology and oh well I sent a email and request. She told me a supervisor or a management administrator would give me a call.. Again still NO ONE has called back!! Like I told her she has not followed up to make sure the issue was addressed appropriately. She is the name and face I have to go on as far as there lack of communication and she is apparently okay with the way they treat their patients a child at that. What a joke of a company as soon as I get the info for their licensing I will leave a complaint with them as well. So completely disappointed!"
"I had an intake with one of their counselors. The therapist was very nice but I could tell she was required to go off of a script and ask very specific questions in the intake. The questions weren't particularly relevant to my reasons for seeking treatment and it did not seem like the counselor understood my concerns or goals for therapy. The meeting was very short and I left feeling a bit awkward. I requested to meet with a new therapist since it wasn't a great fit with the first one. I called and left a message with the office staff. They left me a voicemail saying they received my message so I called back and they reiterated that they had received my message and said goodbye and hung up. No offers to connect me with a new therapist as I had requested or any other offers to resolve my concerns or make sure I was satisfied with their services. It was overall a very unpleasant experience and I could imagine very devastating for someone in desperate need of mental health services. Luckily I found somewhere else to go."
"Absolutely horrible administrative staff. I spent 2 weeks trying to get a counselor for my disabled daughter. They NEVER answer their phone, but they promise to return your call within 24 hours—they don’t. I spent 2 hours filling out forms, including insurance information, then was given a day & time for the intake appointment. No one called. I left a message stating that no one called and did not receive a response. Then a week later I got a text confirming an appointment for a group session that was never requested. Finally spoke to someone who said they sent us an email (never got it) for a Zoom appointment. After finally resolving all of the issues & planning a new day & time for the intake appointment, the woman said “by the way, we don’t accept your insurance, so this will be self pay”. Why didn’t they tell me that on the first phone call when I was asked for & provided all of the insurance information, including ID number, group number & phone number. This was a total waste of my time. This was a horrible experience and now I have lost 2 weeks in finding a counselor for my daughter."
