"Went in and this morning as a New Patient. I came in 30mins early as requested via email, text and Voicemail message about the importance of being Early to fill out Paperwork! My appointment to see provider Darla was at 9:40 , approximately 9:25-30 a patient walks in apologizing for being late to her appointment with Darla because of traffic and asks woman at desk can you still take Me? They give her paperwork to fill out and they take her back at my appointment time at 9:40 am!! So I ask the receptionist how long will it be she says I don’t know? I asked why was that patient given my appointment and asked again approximately how much longer will I have to wait? She says ,” I don’t know it’s all relative “ I’m asking relative to what? She doesn’t have anything to say. I’m an understanding woman and reasonable. I’m expecting a representative of this practice sitting at front desk would be at least apologetic and understanding and wanting to be more proactive at communicating with me!!! Unfortunately I have to assume that this is the energy of this practice and how they conduct themselves with little communication and a lack of respect for me and my time and consideration. I said I don’t feel comfortable here and Will be looking for another practice. It’s sad because it’s seemed like a modern clean and lovely office and I’m sure Darla is an amazing and great practitioner,but I can only go my first impressions. To note while I was sitting in office I can hear a women training another woman behind the door explaining how no one is filling out the charts completely and this is how it needs to be done and even telling the receptionist the same thing you should listen to what I’m saying. It’s like not very professional atmosphere hearing all that.. maybe today was an off day , but just the first impressions was awful and unprofessional and didn’t feel comfortable at all."

"Dr. Mia is by far the best OBGYN in the valley. My second pregnancy was more difficult than my first having both preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. Dr. Mia explained everything to me and answered all of my questions at every appointment. She listened when I expressed concerns about my delivery and ensured everything would be okay by having a plan set in place for all possible scenarios. I never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointments and was in and out in less than an hour, including ultrasound and NST appointments. I have already referred her to several friends and family members and will miss my weekly appointments with her and her team."

"Dr. Mia and the nurses, ultrasound tech, and more were amazing during my pregnancy. Dr. Mia was always so cautious with our care and always was thorough in explaining different aspects of my pregnancy. Whenever anything of worry would come up, Dr. Mia would never hesitate to call me herself with next steps. She was always open to questions any time of day and made our challenging pregnancy less stressful. We truly appreciate everything she did and continues to do for our little family."

"Dr. Mia has made me feel so comfortable and supported during my pregnancy. Navigating this for the first time can be difficult and she’s given me the information and support to feel empowered with my choices this pregnancy and with my birth plan with the want for a natural birth. I love the communication from everyone at this office and how kind they are. I couldn’t recommend North Scottsdale Women’s Health or Dr. Mia enough."

"Well designed office. Darla NP was very kind, attentive and helpful. The only negative (which, to be fair, is somewhat substantial) was not seeing the provider until 45 minutes after my scheduled time — pushing my day so far behind that I couldn’t make the appointment I had scheduled afterwards."
