"Very presumptive and does not ask medical history. Rather he just dispenses prescription. He insisted on writing me metrormin (diabetes prescription) even though I was pregnant w/o running a test or review my family history that completely lack this condition. Sure enough my OB ran a test and a repeat test and my levels were normal. They then discontinued me for using this mid-prescribed medication from DR. Patel all the way throw my second trimester. Way to compromising my pregnancy vudu doctor."

He is very knowledgable, he pushes the natural vitamins before he treats with medication, he also encourages wellness as well. "I recently made Dr. Patel my primary care. Upon calling I expect to wait weeks to be seen as with most practices it is impossible to get issues addressed immediately. As I was having trouble breathing and had a horrendous cough as well as cold and flu like symptoms. Upon getting on the phone they confirmed my insurance and told me the days they usually intake new clients. I couldn't come in those days as I had work. They worked around my schedule to see me and all of the staff treated me with care and respect. Gathering information and coming up with a hypothesis quickly. I have no doubt that due to Dr. Patel that I avoided a prolonged stay at a hospital and excessive medical bills. I only missed roughly a week and a half of work and the majority of my symptoms as well as the root causes were resolved. During our visit he also found out that I had a similar thyroid problem as another member of my family based on blood work and test he ran because of family history. He is direct and will ask you what sort of medication you believe is best for you. This is for people who know they react badly to particular medication (not just allergies but mood and quality of life). If you are looking for a doctor who is more about bedside manner than actually curing/healing you then you may like another doctor. If you are looking for someone who cares about your health and is willing to work with you to get you seen as soon as possible see Dr Patel."

"I Love Dr. Patel! My whole family has been seeing him for 15 1/2 years. Right about the same time he transfered to Arizona. My daughter calls him Dr. Katel because she couldn't pronounce his name correctly. He's always able to squeeze us in when not feeling well instead of waiting a few days like other Doctors."

"Dr Patel was a great find nearly 10 years ago... I have two children and myself... We have complete trust in Dr Patel... First off, antibiotics are not pushed by Dr Patel, like so many other doctors. He realizes many of the ear infections, etc are caused by allergies here in AZ... Overall, we are a healthy bunch and only see Dr Patel 1-3 times a year for physicals and a few odd ball illnesses... He does ask adults what they prefer to take as far as prescriptions, but when you are an adult, you should know what works or doesn't work for you... Not let a doctor do all the prescribing... What many adults do not understand is, Dr Patel works as a team with his patients... He expects you to speak up and tell him what is wrong, what you need and what you expect or are looking for... I like that... I feel I am in control of my illness and he is guiding me back to a healthy situation again.... Great doctor and I would not trade him for any other..."
