"They never pick up the phone nor do they provide any updates to family that are on the ROI. Seems more like a prison than a place to help adults that have mental illnesses. The State of Arizona really need to reconsider their license as it is inhuman to treat adults this way. My family member had a horrible experience at the facility on 99th and Peoria. They are not friendly when you call its almost like we were bothering them when all we wanted was updates on our family member. This program needs a revamp badly. They need some new leadership. They are supposed to help people and the supporting family members not cage them up and treat patients like they are at a zoo."

"Sent wife home with 30 days of meds, doc appt was in 67 days. Math is tough here I suppose. The Mexican lady who handles the phones stated they will NOT refill her meds until her doc appt, so my schizophrenic wife lies in bed at home extremely Ill and almost completely regressed. This company is 100% responsible for the way she is right now. I pray for their sake she is ok."

"The single star rating I provided was just to get the attention of the appropriate individuals - (I could not provide an overall rating & negative attention usually gets looked at ("the squeaky wheel gets the grease") - I used to focus on the NEGATIVE, so anything I DON'T complain about was acceptable.) I was DISAPPOINTED that I wasn't able to get follow up help (like maybe a referral to a social worker, followup care provider / care coordinator / case manager, patient advocate) & that I did not receive PERSONALIZED discharge instructions & the Community Resource Guide pamphlet was only copied single sided from a double sided document!"

"Great place to detox and stabilize from any mental health symptoms. The meals are delicious and there are snacks available 24/7 if desired. There are different levels depending upon the severity of your health issues. You may possess more knowledge of your own recovery and relapse needs, but all you have to do is calmly assert yourself perhaps more than once to the behavioral health technicians here so they can gain a better understanding. You are assigned a Peer Support Navigator before being discharged and they can help you with anything as you progress onward after completing the program available here."

"Heroes work here. I spent 7 hours here after a relative I was evicting filed a false report I was suicidal in retaliation. I observed staff treating every client with compassion, dignity, and kindness. The food was nutritious and delicious. Every client I saw who asked for a snack, a pillow, or a blanket quickly received one. Staff was sensitive and responsive to individual needs. They treated each client as an individual. It’s not a fun place to be, but if you are reading reviews out of concern for a friend or relative, rest assured they are in good hands, and are being treated with kindness."
