"Location is very convenient. Lobby is very clean and setup is 1st class. The number of staff available is plentiful, which is very helpful and allows patients to be processed in a speedy manner. The Dr's are 1st rate and are very efficient."
"Dr. Adam Sorensen was amazing. The whole staff was outstanding and they took photos of what's going on with my skin on my face and instantly when Dr. Sorensen walked in he knew what was going on. I have dealt with my skin for the last 4 years and finally had some answers. It was refreshing how knowledgeable he was and kind."
"One of the best dermatology experiences I have ever had! Everything was clean, the staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. Julie Taubert was amazing! She was so thorough, quick, provided a ton of education and samples, and had superb bedside manner - which is a major plus in my book! Thank you again, and I will recommend this establishment to anyone!"
"When I made the appointment, the gal I spoke with was friendly but that's the only nice comment I can say about this place. Front desk were more interested in speaking to each other than helping clients. They were chopping on food and talking about clients! My son was super nervous and speaks very low, they were super rude and impatient with him. Got back into the doctor room and a nurse comes flying in, speaks a million mile an hour and leaves in a rush. Doctor Sorensen finally comes in and was so insensitive and he too was very rushed. I feel like these people are just about the money... getting people in and out is all that is important to them!"
"I would NEVER recommend Dr. Julie Jacobs to anyone. I went to North Valley Dermatology for psoriasis treatment. Dr. Jacobs was so condescending and her bedside manner was abrasive. My hair has absolutely been going through it and I was desperate for a resolution to get my self confidence back and my hair back to normal. Everything out of her mouth had a judgmental tone. For instance, I brought up how thin and brittle my hair was. Her response, "well it looks pretty thick to me." I brought up wanting to pursue light therapy, and she said it wasn't really an option there. I had just been to another dermatology office where they had diagnosed my psoriasis and offered a medication that I did not feel comfortable with taking after reading reviews of the side effects. Her response (in a condescending tone) " well it is one of the best." She was going to prescribe a hand cream and changed my current shampoo and topical (because i requested them changed), and left the room to see about other medications. I was handed 6 pamphlets by her assistant and was told she wanted to see me back in a month. For what? To check on the hand cream? I asked the assistant what I was supposed to do with the pamphlets, am I just supposed to pick the one I want and call??? She never talked about diet or anything I could do to avoid a flare up. She just did not care whatsoever. There was no hey let me explain what is happening so you can better understand your condition. I was so mad at the entire interaction I just wanted to get out of there. While waiting in line to check out, I was asked twice if I wanted to go back and talk with the doctor since I was visibly irritated. I declined. I did not want to be in a room with her again. I had NEVER felt like that at ANY doctor appointment EVER. Being made to feel stupid when your going somewhere for help is obviously not ideal. While checking out with the receptionist who was very sweet, I told her I wanted to think about it in regards to the follow up appointment. Then another receptionist got involved which made me get emotional trying to keep it together from the whole interaction with Dr. Jacobs. She profusely apologized and said they would make it right, but I never got so much as a phone call. If you are looking for a provider that has compassion, and who genuinely comes from a place of wanting to help you, she is not for you. If you want to cry while paying an $80 copay, call immediately and schedule an appointment."
