"This review is in regard to the MD specifically. I had great experiences with the office staff and the physical therapy. However, the MD is the one who your employer will listen to if you are injured on the job (specifically, Amazon) and go here for your workers comp examination. First and foremost, read all the paperwork in regard to the law in AZ. If you see the MD more than once, you have established care with him and what he says goes as far as your employer is concerned. Given the fact that he is chosen by your employer, he has incentive to get you back to work even if you aren’t well enough. This MD would never suggest that you cannot work. His integrity is compromised. I’ll use my situation as an example. I was injured on the job on 02/04/2024. I came here as a requirement by my employer on 02/07/2024. However, on 02/06/2024, I was in so much pain that I went to an urgent care facility because that is my right. The injury I sustained at work was to my left shoulder region around the shoulder blade area and the pain is excruciating. Radiating up my back. My muscles are so tense, I cannot relax them at all. When I went to urgent care on 02/06/2024, I was referred to an orthopedic specialist. They gave me X-rays there and confirmed that nothing was broken but any kind of tissue, tendon, muscle, or ligament damage wouldn’t show up on an X-ray. Then came my Amazon required visit with MBI. When I came to MBI, I recorded my entire visit with the MD. He was in the room for 5 minutes. Ordered an xray he knew wouldn’t say anything (after being told I already had one) and said that he could order an MRI but what was the point. He told me that I shouldn’t lift more than five pounds and that I should limit driving because my injury is severely impacting the use of my dominant hand. I told him that the pain is so bad that I went to the ER the morning of 02/07/2024, just before I saw them. I was given a sling and he said to take it off and it wasn’t needed. So without any kind of physical examination, X-rays he knew wouldn’t show anything, and complete denial of what two other MDs suggested, I was ordered to go to physical therapy. When I received the paperwork to return to my employer, nothing was what he said in the room and I know this because it’s recorded. AZ law allows me to record my own interactions without notifying the other party. Almost everything was completely different in the paperwork they gave me to turn into my employer. If I’m not supposed to be driving, how do I get to work? This MD suggests everyone returns to work regardless of your situation. He doesn’t care for your pain and I suggest you go for the first required visit to establish your work related injury and then seek a second opinion. Everyone should seek a second opinion. There is a reason this office is contracted with Amazon. If you see this MD twice then you’ve established care so they try to rush you to schedule that second visit so that you end up with them the whole time. Please advocate for yourself. It’s bad enough being injured on the job and having to deal with all eyes on you at work. You need a healthcare provider who won’t make you feel like you’re lying so they can do the bare minimum while collecting whatever paycheck. For this MD, it’s quantity over quality. Do your first visit and get real healthcare elsewhere. I truly hope this helps someone on their road to recovery. As it stands, I am still in pain. Can’t drive without risking a car accident. Can’t pick up my toddler or look in one direction without turning my whole body. How I’ll get to work, I don’t know. But it’s not like this MD cares. Such a disappointment that he has a license to even practice medicine."
"This place is a disgrace. I actually had a Doctor completely lie to me about my injury my back was caused by my liver and not by lifting something way to heavy . Then he lied and said I had blood in my Urine . I never submitted a blood test . He refused to give me anything for pain saying with the agreement they have at Amazon they can’t give us anything that could stop you from working. Hello I’m in so much pain I can’t even hardly walk or sit. I was already seen by a specialist and he completely ignored his results . He wouldn’t even look at them. Disgraceful"
"07/01/2023 - 08/12/2023 Physical Therapy shouldn't hurt, You're there to get better not worse. I was in so much more pain when I left. When someone says it hurts listen. I got sick of what's your pain level 1-10 question, FML. If I was at a 1, I sure wouldn't be going wasting my days of or time after work. I could of did the same type of treatments at home without the personal conversations of the employees. They told us what to do and set a timer and walked away. They didn't work with the patients, very generic way of doing things. This was my first time going through this definitely don't want to return here at least. They have one doctor that's a real jerk, Not sure of his name but he's balding. Dr. Teressa Hart very nice she really listens to what you have to say. she doesn't belong here she's too caring for this place. I did witness Dr. Jerk scolding her, basically wanting her to rush with patients which isn't right. Just because he doesn't care, Don't mean she's the same way."
"Received Excellent customer service from the Goodyear medical front desk staff! Rosalinda and Kathy were both knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to deal with regarding every appointment I had there. Would have preferred to see the same physician every visit, but they have a rotating schedule. The physical therapy staff were pleasant, instrumental in my positive recovery and the office is conveniently located. TY!"
"My first visit 4/12 was with a lady who said she used to own her own PT clinic, she really knew her stuff and I was so impressed with her. Awesome experience. However my second visit was the complete opposite. It was the next day 4/13 with a young male PT. I left that visit in more pain than when I came in. I didn't feel listened to at all, I told him I was in pain and just got off a physical work shift yet I was given a really strenuous regimen and he said to me "I can tell you're not in that much pain by the look on your face". I was floored. How can you say that to someone on their 2nd visit and as a work comp case? He knew nothing about me or what I'm going through or feeling physically. I am a strong person and I can be in immense pain and have a poker face. It was such an unprofessional and insulting comment. To top it off, when it was finally the end and time for a heat pad, I'm sitting down finally resting with the heat pad on my shoulder and browsing my phone and he says to me "Alexis make sure you do this" and then he pushed his chest forward and said I had to hold my chest in that position while heating/resting. I was so uncomfortable."
