"Come here if you want nothing to get done. I came here but left once I turned 18. I was promised so many things that had never happened. Along with that, whenever something wouldn't happen it would be all my fault and my moms and the blame would be put on us. One of the case managers I had told me how I didn't want help and how I apparently didn't care about my health even though I had kept asking to go to their groups and such. She also told me how I was spoiled because of the fact that I had social anxiety and needed my mom to go into the library with me (something that they were supposed to help me with but never did). Onto the topic of groups, at one point I agreed to start going to group. I only went one time and whenever I would ask to go to another one it would never happen. We had gotten evicted from our home because our mom couldn't make money due to disability. They had kept telling us how they would help us find a home but never did. My mom would call them and ask for help. They would then say, "We will give you a call back," and then they would never call back. This happened so many times too. I was also supposed to get tested for a couple of disorders that there was speculation I had. They told us the minute we got there how that would be one of their main objectives, but had never happened. One of the case managers I had told my mom and I the minute we got there how medicine was bad for you and a scam, basically telling me not to take them. Then all of a sudden, she changed her mind months later then telling me how because I am not taking medication I didn't care about myself. There was also a lot of HIPPA violations where I was told another patients business with their name, their problems, and what they had told to the case managers there that was supposed to be kept just between the two. Giving credit where credit is due, the people here are nice. The problem is is that they don't do things that helps the child and will sometimes say things that hurts to child. They also never take accountability whenever something goes wrong that is on their part. This place is just honestly bad for helping kids. If you really want help for your child, take them to Community Partners or go up to Tucson and go to AZCA. Community partners did more work in a two weeks then what MIKID did in 8 months."
