"This place is a churn and burn money operation. I made an appointment specifically for treatment for having some water sealer solution splash into my left eye a couple of weeks earlier, which I flushed as instructed on the container but still had some blurring. Dr. Boyer came in and before even looking at my eye ordered his technician to do a "complete workup," and left. My right eye was not in any way involved, still they wanted to do vison tests in both eyes. dilate both eyes, inspect the retinas in both eyes, do a glaucoma test of both eyes, etc., etc., etc. before even looking at my left eye for the presenting problem. I could see my co-pay going higher and higher. I told the technician I did not want a full workup, I just wanted my injured left eye looked at. She actually told me I'd have to argue with the doctor when he came back in about that. Exacerbated by the fact that I had to do an impersonal self check at a machine like doing a self check out at a Walmart, (scanning my own i.d. and insurance cards and answering a litany of intrusive questions about race and other social issues I did not want to answer) while the receptionist sat a few feet away inside a window chatting with coworkers. Realizing from the response I had gotten from the doctor that I was in no danger of my eye getting worse, I simply got out of the chair and walked out to seek treatment elsewhere."

"As one who dreads having things done to the eyes, I found both Ashley and Dr Boyer were reassuring and put me at ease about the procedures I'm having done. One thing they should warn people about is their location. They are in a building clearly marked with a different address than what is listed as their address. Good luck trying to find 75 Colonia De Salud! I had to call twice to get directions as I drove around looking for a sign or an address that the office had given me. The first person told me to look for a blue dome, which did not help at all, because you cannot see it when you're close to the building. I am guessing I am not the only person to have trouble finding them... of course, I do have vision issues."

"Dr. Hopper wasn’t in the office today. Saw the young doctor who is very professional and helpful. Was guided in what to expect with upcoming procedure. Very happy with his considerable professionalism & service. Ashley was absolutely delightful and very informative. Wish everyone had her capacity to put people at ease. She’s a KEEPER for sure. "Excellent experience. When busy the more than competent staff stepped in to help. Going out of their way to sign people in. The doctors & nurses were more than helpful in explaining the procedures of laser surgery for cateracts. Thank you"

"I don't feel confident that the exam was done well and they were running 45 minutes behind. I went here because when I called they said they were in network with my new insurance. Turns out they weren't by the bill I just received in the mail. I'm going to go back to getting my eye exams done at Walmart. I get better service there. Edit: the 45 minute wait was before I was seen in general plus the extra time for the dilation. I spoke to someone on the phone today who was very polite. The reason I'm now paying a bill is because the exam they did was NOT the exam I originally wanted when going there in the first place. So now I'll be going somewhere else to get my eye exam done like I originally wanted."
