"Thanks to all who cared for my husband. Your support and caring Was greatly appreciated. Dorothy Onstott"
"My personal experience with Sierra Vista is of a good nature. Front end was very cordial and understood why I was there. I was called in an hour Ahead of my schedule. No fuss, no headache. In and out."
"Flip of a coin if you’ll get good care at this facility. I’ve had good prompt care in the past, but not so much recently. Very little to no communication with your provider, and poor continuity in your health care. It may just be my particular team, but compared to other VA healthcare facilities I’ve received treatment from in the past, Sierra Vista is by far the worst. As apposed to doing any in depth research, or proactive treatment, this place will literally just let you die."
"First appointment went well. Organized and timely. Nurses and doctors were great. Radiology service needs to be discontinued. Either do radiology well or even fair or don't do it at all. First in line, hour and a half later, still not seen. Walk-ins only, but call ahead as the sole technician is frequently out.... Follow up 8/31...upgrade from 3 to 4 stars....third time was the charm for radiology. X-ray orders had expired. Front desk worked with the nurse and doc to get orders resubmitted. Despite the delay with the orders, I was done an hour later. Thank you for a job well done."
"Had a foot problem and, without seeing me, my primary wanted me to go for PT. Didn't even talk to me. Tried to explain my problem to the nurses, but each one I talked to was distant and appeared unconcerned. I was forced to deal with it on my own. This happened about a year ago. Several months later I saw the optometrist (she was good), and ordered my glasses. She told me to try them for a couple of weeks before getting them adjusted. However, the glasses arrived somewhat twisted and unusable. I went to the clinic and they said they don't do adjustments. They had no solutions to offer. WTH! After these (and some other issues) I switched my care to the Tucson VA and haven't had a single issue. I realize this clinic isn't a full service location, but that doesn't explain the lack of communication and compassion. By the looks of the reviews it would appear that others have had no problem while some have complaints as well. The VA needs to take a hard look at this location and fix the problems."
