"I was a patient here a while ago. I was a patient of Mr. Carnett for a while even post transition to the new location that they currently operate out of. I had noticed a shift as the practice grew. The biggest one being how everyone conducted themselves. They had at the time become very rude and the inside of the building itself looked like it had rolled out of a dystopian wet dream with next to no counter, everything being covered in frosted glass and you needing to interact with the tablet on the wall to be able to check in with someone behind the counter. The door at the time had bars on it. Insane stuff. As far as care goes I can’t say that it was good. At the time I was running around with an undiagnosed autoimmune condition and Mr. Carnett really didn’t do a whole lot to try to find out what it is. Appointments were very brief and the notes from those appointments are very non existent. What forced me to leave was his insistence on me working out at the time. I was not opposed to working out but when I would I would lose my vision. He eventually stated that “it was in gods hands” and that was it. I eventually crashed while working out and was taken to the ER in Bisbee where my current Dr found me. We found out that I have a chronic inflammatory disorder that manifests with high levels of exertion. I didn’t need a deity. I just needed him to do his job. All these years later I look back and I cringe at it a fair bit and while I still have sketchy health I can say that I’m doing better. The staff leave a lot to be desired and nepotism runs rampant throughout the clinic. If you have a complaint, expect it to go unanswered, if you don’t want a video chatting intern to be watching your appointment, expect them to state that they have to be there. There was no privacy there. At the time of my leaving they were phasing medicare/ medicaid patients out because they had “served their purpose”. It became truly insane after a while and I’m very glad that I’m gone."
"Been a patient here for a long time. I don't visit the doctor much, average every 7 years. But I called to make an appointment on Monday, they got me in Friday. Easy check in, put your ID and insurance card in a scanner and have a seat. They got me in at exactly my appointment time and took my vitals. Provider came in less than 3 minutes later, very thorough and efficient. Got blood drawn and a referral. Was out of there in less than 30 minutes. They've got the system dialed in here."
"Our Np Laura Goeth will be retiring, our family will be missing her. She has been the best NP we have had. She is very polite, professional, caring, good bedside manners, listens to our symptoms very well. She has done a good job taking care of my family. Sorry to see ya go."
"I am looking for another doctor not because of the treatment that I recieve from the nurse practitioners at Carnett Clinic but because of the poor, unprofessional office staff. Rita is the absolute worse. Her attitude, her demeanor, the way she approaches all the patients is unprofessional and is either encouraged or ignored by the office manager Terry. Even after trying to talk with Terry who became disrespectful and even more confrontational than Rita, Terry decided to come into the room where I was getting ready to give my blood and continue to try and argue with me. In a follow up phone call with Terry she informed me that Rita has worked for her for 16 years. That does not excuse her lack of people skills. In all of the years that I have recieved medical care I have never once met the doctor and I had heard that Dr. Carnett retired."
"I have been going to Dr Carnett's clinic since 2000. I have always had exceptional care, not only by Dr Carnett but his NP's. The staff is kind and always tries to accommodate my needs. The only reason this review doesn't give 5 stars is I've had to wait for approval on refill meds a couple of times. With the population surge in Sierra Vista all the local doctors have become super busy. I wouldn't go anywhere else - I trust them implicitly."
