"Based on my last experience, receptionist was extremely rude and incompetent. Only wanted to make an appointment and she acted like I asked her for $10,000 loan. Onward to nicer places."
"We were given an 8AM appointment when the office did not open until 8:30. The staff were aware that was an inconvenience to the patient but that is how they do business. I suggested to change there policies to better serve there patients."
"The prosthetist and staff were very friendly and to my knowledge did their best to be helpful. Unfortunately they do not do their prosthetics work in house, and send it off to some factory to be made. The test sockets came back so absurdly large (16 ply of socks too large) - yes two of them - that they were unusable. As if that weren't bad enough they rushed to get into Carbon because my prescription was "running out" rather than doing the leg work to get another one so that they could make my prosthetic properly and ensure it fit me and my needs. In the end I had to walk away from the process and look for another prosthetist elsewhere - all the way in Phoenix. This is the Walmart of prosthetics companies and I cannot stress with enough emphasis to just go elsewhere. You will be far better off, receive better care, and likely be in much less pain day to day as a result. You have rights as a patient, do not settle for a sub par experience, prosthesis, or care. Stand up for yourself and do a few consultations to ensure you will be taken care of by a provider that sees you as more than a number to rush in and out."
"Went to another place for starters. Four Prosetics made and only 1 kind of fit. One kept coming out of the socket due to a faulty locking mechanism . After trying to get a good fitting socket, I could not. I went to Hanger and in a 2 month span I got a great socket fit. Thank you Ms. Jean , your the best! The dogs are all happy, but mostly I am. Such fantastic people. From the front desk to the super great staff. Thank you all."
"I was referred by my pain Dr late in the day. The receptionist at Hanger asked me to wait til she could get someone to talk to me about my foot drop and what could be done to help. It was maybe 5 minutes and then I was in the back giving info to Stephanie who said she could help. I was referred back out to receptionist to make appt. I asked if I could come back the next day early a.m. as I would be in the area. They got me in no problem. I would need a prescription from my Dr. No problem. I arrived following a.m. and was see within 5 minutes. Stephanie had the brace and inserted it into my sneaker. I tested it out in the hallway. WOW. I was walking without dragging my foot and not worried about falling for the first time I'm over 10 years. Now that was service! I am so happy and satisfied with this office and its employees. They sure made my day/week/life better. Highly recommend them."
