"Visited this urgent care with a very painful matter this week. It was 7:00am and I was one of the first people in the door. I had to use the restroom and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. Front office stated I had to pay for the entire visit and I knew that’s not correct because I work in medical billing and have good insurance through my employment. Spoke with billing manager (over the phone because no manager on site), she said they had to collect the entire visits’ charge and they would send me a check if I overpaid? Sounded very fraudulent like they just wanted to double dip and charge both me and my insurance. She would not accept that I wanted to be billed what I owed once the claim processed through my insurance. She stated front office staff would “get in trouble” if they didn’t collect payment. She also stated that front office telling me my visit would be “around $100 and sum” is them giving me an estimate and if I didn’t want to pay, then I shouldn’t have done the visit. You can just tell these people don’t prioritize patient care or really empathize with people at all. The entire conversation with her was so unprofessional that I made my way directly to their owner’s office at Yuma Pulmonology. Once I was there, I spoke with the office manager Amanda. She was the only person that was reasonable and apologized for the experience I had just had with the staff. Hopefully, they can improve the quality of their patient care in all aspects. I, as a patient, know that I will never return to this place."
"Worst medical place to go to. Got there around 530pm and they made me feel like they did not want to help me because they were trying to close at 8pm I did wait 2 1/2 hours before being seen and was not prescribed any medications leaving I did go to nextcare the next day and they assisted me with the prescription and diagnosed me correctly. I suggest going to nextcare before going here. Waste of time and money."
"Worst experience w/ NP Laura Spindola. No manners, cannot diagnose, and waited 4 hours for nothing. 2 year old son had thrush and she called it a common cold and prescribed allergy medicine. Ridiculous."
"I went to get a PCR COVID test very early in the morning. Not one patient waiting and the waiting was a while. My main complaint is PLEASE don’t have the one and only sick nurse give out the COVID tests. It defeats the whole purpose. Patients could probably not have it coming in but with the staff being sick they’ll end up taking something back home with them. Please be more mindful and at least have your staff mask if they are sick if they aren’t going to stay home. You guys work in Health CARE and literally don’t care."
"Zero Stars: Was sent by YRMC urgent care to this location, as I was not registered with a PCP in Yuma area. Got in to have X-rays taken relatively quickly. However- the nurses and doctor on duty were terrible! The doctor came in and asked me "What the problem was?"- in a snide- I really don't care about my job here or you- tone. My response back was- "You viewed my X-rays- You tell me?" He replied- "Nothings broken- So what's the problem?" -- Very unprofessional-- The nurse came in after his derogatory opinion, with an ace bandage and attempted to wrap my foot up while my sock was still on my foot. I requested she give it to me- and I would administer it when I got home. Worst treatment facility I have ever been too. DO NOT RECOMMEND."
