"Clients are not commonly an active part of their stay, here. Openly languishing people asking for meds that they receive on some occasion and taken off with no recourse over the change. Clients with cognitive disabilities are not assisted quickly enough, leaving said clients to mentally fall apart in the environment, which can bring on episodes of frustration just out of a desire to be considered within their care plans. There are some staff members that were wonderful, simply because they didn't hold their "time in the profession" as a means to be neglectful, and instead used their compassion to help. I'm recovering from having stayed here..."

"I don't recommend this hospital for anybody. This place here does not include anybody in their planning of care. They do not let you talk to a doctor even when you are signed as a release of information when speaking with the head nurse and u have any concerns they tell You need to speak with the doctor every time. You ask a question and then when you ask to speak with the doctor they won't give you the number extension or the full name of the doctor they also have the worse social worker the social workers instead don't Communicate with family or friends they they lie and are Very disrespectful condescending. And do not plan with the family or friends. I don't think this place is for any type of better Mental health they instead make it worse then anything else I think they need more over sight this is one of the worse Facilities For impatient treatment in Mesa. They pretty much do what they want when they want. Regardless of any doctor's recommendations or any evaluations doesn't really matter. Because one of the evaluations that I received was saying that they denied the medical diagnosis. And they are state evaluators that did the diagnosis and they are vary Qualified but the doctors at valley wise went against their diagnosis and made Their own diagnosis they went against the original This place is just about how many heads they can fit in a program so that way they can make sure they get that federal money anThat's all it's about."

"The staff were vary good to my wife I just didn't like the process of information where no one knows anything only the doctors but other that great place my wife said the people that work in her unit 5 and 7 were the best she said they try and do everything they can to make everyone feel conformable so thank u vary much for treating my wife good while she was in there keep up the good work"

"Step son gets his ADHD meds from here - well, when they can actually send the prescription. Even when we call WEEKS in advance to schedule something or to renew his prescription, they simply can't be bothered to help. I honestly need to hire a psychiatrist to help me deal with all the stress this place causes me and my family. Anyone know of a support group?"
