Exceptional Community Hospital - Maricopa

"Went on a Monday afternoon. Very nice waiting room. Check in was quick, triage was quick as well. We were in a room with in the hour. Polite Support Staff. RN’s and PA were very nice. They checked in often with updates. They listened to us and had conversations with us regarding the treatment. Hospital is very clean, and very modern. We had a great experience."

"When is my first time experience at this hospital Chad benninghoff who is from Avondale he was taking a shift in Maricopa he said I had the flu with no test done I am very asthmatic and my lung was hurting I did not get an x-ray I was extremely dehydrated no IVs he also made me feel very uncomfortable he didn't let me speak or talk he told me to do certain things which I already have been for the past 8 days I showed up at the hospital and basically told me I can't talk just listen to what he says cuz he knows just by the symptoms I am a type 2 diabetic and no testing was done I could have had high sugar I did have a temperature but he wouldn't let me know what it was he also didn't prescribing no medications that my insurance will cover and then he told me he's from Avondale and he came out to help them for the night and that he gets paid pretty good money to drive out here to do a shift and I think he's just there for a paycheck and not for the patients who are in need. I think you guys need to do a better job on helping your patients who are in need instead of overlooking that and just getting a paycheck."

"This hospital lives up to its name for sure! I was in a ton of pain and was able to get in right away and felt like everyone cared. The front desk clerk was amazing and welcoming. The gentleman that did our initial vitals who use to be a firefighter was great! Nurse Tracy, Nurse Rochelle, and Doctor Gilbert were phenomenal. The genuine care and concern made me feel better about everything. The attention to detail and acting on it right away was reassuring we made the right choice going there. We didn’t get to finish our procedure there due to needing surgery, but starting there was amazing. Thank you all!"

"The nurse practitioner Vien last name to hard to pronounce was horrible . She was so unethical and was unprofessional that I will never go back there she jeopardises everything that hospital stands for. Her bedside manner sucked. She said that ibuprofen and tylenol equal morphine. She was a straight up kook! Her nurse was a man that was as rude as he was a jerk. The care I received was not even sub par it was third world and I am going all the way to the top about this nurse practitioner who is no way fit to be seeing patients. She should loose her licences and I hope she does because I am going to board with this complaint."

"I went in on Christmas after having several days of a bad reaction to my meds stemming from a total knee replacement. I was in pretty bad shape. From the front desk to the hospital staff I could not have received better care. They were busy so it did take a while, but once the care started it was excellent. I had issues that were very uncomfortable but each and every staff member treated me with the utmost care! I can’t explain how that helped not only my physical condition but also my mental health. Thank you Ken, Carmela, Briana, Becky,Harlan and Jess! I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone, if I have please forgive me. I would absolutely recommend this hospital!"
