"Hadn't been here for a couple years but it was nice to see everything up and working. Got a couple drinks and snacks. I bought the $20 ticket book for rides. My 7 year old took a trip on the train and merry-go-round a few times. She had a good time. I'm not sure the age range for the rides but it's more for smaller kids to maybe 8 years old."
"If I could give negative 100 stars I would. We are visiting from North Carolina. We took our 8 month old and 2.5 year old to ride the train and play at the park. The train flipped over with us and our children inside. As well as their grandparents. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We have been told they have had previous issues with the track and they allowed children and adults to ride without disclosing any caution to us. One little boys arm was stuck under the train and another woman was also sent to the hospital. Luckily our children were not hurt but our two year old is now terrified of trains. My legs and hips are bruised and cut up. This train is not safe and I wouldn’t put it past the owners to hide any issues with any of the other rides. They should be shutdown by the city!"
"A nice little park with train and a few rides. Beautiful view. Some of the “rides” only take quarters. Height requirements actually restrict taller/older riders, so it’s actually more toddler friendly. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Friendly service. Just a bit on the older, run down side. Some things are breaking or broken."
"We were on a roadtrip and decided to check out Freestone Railroad Park. Our little one wanted to ride a train and play at a playground...this place was awesome!! I wish we had a park like this by us. Staff was super friendly!! There were 4 rides and we decided to just purchase wristbands, that way we could ride endless times. Our little guy LOVED it!!"
"Clean park with a nice amusement facility inside. Carousel is an old wooden one. Kids will have fun even though it is pretty weather worn. Train and other rides are great for the kiddies too."
