"I can't rave enough about my positive experience with Exceptional Community Hospital! I visited the hospital tonight because I had sliced my hand open. I was greeted warmly by Tatiana (front desk). Despite the staff being busy, they attended to me quickly and I received stitches within an hour. Rhonda (nurse) checked on me every 10 minutes to ensure I was comfortable. Unfortunately, my hand injury turned out to be more severe than expected, but the staff took care of me from the moment I arrived until the time I left. The doctor (Dr. Mayo) on staff was amazing and provided great care, stitching me up and referring me to a hand surgeon. I am very thankful for their help and care! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"My husband and I have had great care here. Only once did i have a problem with a PA. I had to come back the next day to see a real doctor and get medication for an infecting that the PA wouldn't give me. I'm back again, but this time it's after the new year. What hospital puts in a new software on their computers and destroys all their old patients' records? No one does that. They didn't have any of my records. Blaming it on new software."
"Had a great treatment for RSV got meds , and needed another prescription for my nebulizer after my visit . Dr Mayo and Nurse Hailey , front desk Diana all were awesome and helping make that happen without having to come back in. Thanks to all . This is a great convenient hospital."
"Give negative stars if possible primarily due to Dr. Ried and 1 nurse (I dont know her name), 1 nurse seemed caring but obviously new, she brought warmed blankets for my husband (the patient) and offered one to me as well, which was surprisingly nice. At first arrival, the travel nurse seemed great but was clocking out at that point. All the staff seemed uncomfortable and mumbles when talking to you, even the xray tech. Dr has horrible bedside manners, makes you feel as if you are a nuisance, won't answer questions or tell you anything and does not listen to you even after correcting him over 3 times. This dr thinks he is being direct but that isnt the problem, he is just down right rude, insensitive, disrespectful and seems squimish around blood and fluids which I found odd for a Dr. His attitude only became worse when he wanted to medically transport patient to large hospital and was told I would drive him there instead. I drove him there to begin with and its the patients rights to do so. On arrival there was no other people in waiting rooms or in emergency rooms. Its a bit more advanced than urgent care technology wise and did like the more private rooms (actually have doors instead of just curtains) than most emergency room. However, I will not return here again given the choice."
"I would recommend coming at night if you want to be treated seriously. I’ve checked in 2 different occasions in the morning-afternoon and both experiences were a waste of time. Nothing was done/tested, pretty much handed expensive ibuprofen, discharged and not taken seriously. Took my son in the morning for a cough that sounded like croup or possibly bronchitis and a rising temp and the nurses pretty much rushed us out. Didn’t test him for anything and diagnosed as “possibly a virus going around”, given ibuprofen and was discharged. On the other hand, everytime we’ve checked in at night the doctors/nurses on shift always go above and beyond to ensure you feel at least a little better before you head out and are always super accommodating. I brought my son in that same day at night and the doctor was even stunned nothing was done."
