Fountain Park Hotel

"We were supposed to stay for 5 days, but had to leave and move to another hotel b/c the pool was being shut down due to non-compliance w/the government (pool was not kept up) after an inspection, so the pool was only going to be closed the day of our check-in. When we asked why we weren't informed about this at least via email or a phone call, they said it was on short notice, but they were not really apologetic about the inconvenience this would cause as when we're on vacation, we enjoy and want to use the pool as much as possible. So we moved to another hotel, which turned out to be definitely not as nice a hotel and the location was less safe, but they did have a working pool, albeit not as nice a pool also. The room here was pretty nice and cleaned well. We slept fine for the 2 nights that we were here, but it was very inconvenient to have to move to another hotel due to the pool getting closed up. The gym here have basic machines, but the space was actually sufficient and larger than most hotel gyms. Finally, the breakfast was just grab n go items, no hot breakfast or sit down area here."

"This place appears to be well maintained. We checked in and were informed to schedule room cleaning if we would like it! We scheduled it and NEVER got our room cleaned! What are customers paying for? Just a place to lay our head? Used to be where you got your room cleaned daily and had to request if you didn’t want it cleaned! Disappointed with the service!"

"A hidden gem of a hotel. Perfect location. Peaceful and serene. It's nice to see the view through clean windows, a rare bonus these days. Comfortable beds, clean and friendly!"

"We called twice for a pack & play so our baby could sleep safely. Upon arrival, we were repeatedly told they did not have one. While walking to our room, the staff closest was open and we saw a broken pack & play in there. We asked for a replacement but we're told there was nothing they could do. After a few hours, a different staff member called & said there was a cancelation & one had become available. The shower floor was dirty."
