SimonMed Imaging - Higley

"Took forever to get a simple chest x-ray done. I kept getting bumped with my place in line. Very unorganized in the front office. Then the tech asked me what I was there for even though she had the work order from the doctor. Also ask if I had asthma because of the work order. I had no idea about the line of questioning. Originally, I went to a different satellite SimonMed and they sent me to this one because they said my wait time would be a lot shorter. Ended up being twice as long."

"I arrived at my MRI appointment 20 minutes early. I then was asked to fill out forms in and give insurance and ID as usual. I only got about halfway down with the questions about how much metal is in my body, and the MRI, tech, Terry, (who did not even introduce himself at that time) rushed me in to get changed and told me that if they don’t stand on schedule, then the whole day goes kaput. He did not review my paperwork or medical history, did not ask detailed questions, and made me feel anxious as he was in a rush to get me in the MRI. After the procedure, I asked him what his name was, and he said Terry. He said he’s getting ready to retire in six months. I asked him about how do I get the results for the MRI and he could not provide me that information and said to talk to the girl at the front desk. So I got dressed, went to the front desk to the receptionist who was eating Cheetos and licking her fingers. I asked her how do I review or get a copy of my MRI and she said “you need to go online and look that up for yourself “ I asked her to give me more detail other than that, and finally figured it out. She really was of little use. They do not have an app or a patient portal. She did make me a CD to give to my physician for my appointment. The whole process was questionable here, and very rushed and unprofessional, as a nurse I feel for the people that have to go in there and get an MRI and that they are highly anxious or have questions that cannot get answered because these folks here at this location are Just a “cattle call, get them in get them out “I will ask my PCP to not refer me to this imaging company ever again."

"Very friendly staff. The young lady at the reception desk was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Greta the X Ray tech was great. She talker me through everything and even gave me a cd with the X rays on it to give my provider because the results wouldn't have been available by the time of my next appointment. This will definitely be my preferred location."

"I had an MRI done this morning at this location by Terry. It was the nicest & easiest experience I've ever had with a Simonmed facility. I did my paperwork online ahead of time and just had to check in when I arrived. This location is nice, friendly staff and I got in a bit early than my scheduled appointment. Terry was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience for me. Thank you very much!!"

"The MRI technician was very friendly. He put my mind at ease and relieved my worries. I went to a different facility before and it was so much more stressful and nowhere near calm. If you have to have an MRI go here. They have a 3T machine which makes it quicker too!"
