"I stayed here for the first time on a one night business trip. Pros: 1. Room to the airport and has a free shuttle 2. Clean room Cons: 1. The hotel is right next to the main road, a tram, and the airport with very little insulation or soundproofing. 2. A guest discharged a firearm at midnight in the hotel! 3. The food is horrible - see the picture for the Chicken Tenders and Fires, $14! This hotel will be removed from the corporate list of approved hotels for us as it’s dangerous!"

"Greta location next to the airport, however, because of its proximity it can be difficult to get a rideshare at times so best if staying to have a rental car. Thermostats are battery operated so if it isn't working you have to go down to the lobby and ask for replacement. I was never successful trying to call from my room phone. It does not connect to the front desk. Try not to look at the hallway walls the paint was definitely not applied by a professional and there are streaks everywhere. Was so tempted to repaint myself lol. Snack selection is OK. It's good for a quick one night stay."

"Convenient to the airport. I arrived after 10 pm to nobody at the desk. After waiting 10 minutes I decided to go to my room. I sent a message in the chat asking if I could elect free breakfast as my platinum benefit (I had checked in online and had an electronic key but you have to tell them in person if you want breakfast instead of points). I didn't get a reply until 7:10 am the next day. I've never seen it take longer than 5-10 minutes and even that is rare. The answer was that I got points since I checked in online and that the cook was out anyway so there wasn't any breakfast. In the end, I arrived and left without seeing an employee at the front desk or interacting with anybody."

"Had high hopes for this place as it was a decent rate and a good spot to bars and shopping in Old Scottsdale. Check in was fine and looked to be a cute boutique type hotel, but once at the room, oof, what a mess. The doors were crumbling on the bottom. There was some weird metal bar thing half unscrewed from the wall. The TV wall mount had wires all over. The bathroom looked like it was painted by Stevie Wonder and had peeling paint all over, and why in the world did they paint the shower pan on the bottom? Seriously, as a Bonvoy Platinum Elite, I would have thought I'd actually get my room refreshed during my stay. Nope, I was wrong. Had to ask twice for new towels. Moral of the story, save your money and go elsewhere. Marriott should be embarrassed to have this be in the portfolio."

"Maria the shuttle driver was absolutely AMAZING! She was undoubtedly the best part of the stay. I had an issue with billing which I'm hoping is resolved when everything settles. When I initially brought it to the attention of the staff I didn't get much help. I was told I would have to contact Marriott. I did so and was told the issue occurred at the property. I was notified later it had been corrected but the numbers still didn't match so I'm hoping once the holds are released it will be as expected. The room was great, breakfast was not what I was expecting but I won't say that was anyone's fault. Bar service was awesome as well. I was there 2 nights and it served its purpose. Had I not had the billing issues, 5 stars for sure."
