Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Phoenix Midtown

"I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last week, checked out on Thursday the 25th. I asked for a receipt upon checking out and the person at the desk could not figure out how to print a receipt for me. She said she would email me the receipt, did not. Since Thursday, I have been calling daily as they charged me an additional $500 and have not issued a refund. I cannot even get a receipt that reflects my charges for this 2 night stay and I have been charged twice for the same room. Chanel, the operations manager has not been able to help me and is no longer returning my calls. I would not recommend this hotel unless you have time to chase down your correct payments. After 20+ years of exclusively staying at Marriott properties, I am so disappointed!"

"I see a specialist at Barrows Brain and Spine so this place great. Good price, friendly service especially the woman at breakfast, great buffet in the morning. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Jacuzzi and pool worked and was a nice temp. It was Jan so pool was a little cool but you could swim in. 1 small negative was towels were rough and no chocolate on the pillow. LOL Highly recommend will stay here often."

"Just picked this hotel out of convenience, but after checking you and I have extended my stay. I made it to breakfast that they were already cleaning up, I was very late getting down. But the lady that was caring for the area was happy to accommodate me with what she still had to offer. A little gesture like that goes a really long way."

"This place was just OK. My favorite thing was the room size and my least favorite was the service. We had the suite and it was big. I only paid $100 for this room so I wasn’t expecting much but the size was impressive. Otherwise the room was dated, but clean. Some missing paint here and there, the toilet didn’t quite flush right, old carpet, but it was acceptable. The service was definitely lacking. From the service without a smile at check-in to the weird breakfast janitor who playfully but aggressively scolded my infant for eating messily, everyone we interacted with seemed like they hated their job. This place really needs to get itself together service-wise. It’s cheap but I’d skip it next time. There’s lots of other choices in Phoenix."

"Overall great place, was exceptionally clean inside. Continental breakfast just okay but worked for on the go days. The only negative was the concrete was broken all over the pool area, so much so that it was all over the bottom of the hot tub."
