"We enjoyed our Yaqui Hideout stay. The location (between Chiricahua National monument and Cochise Stronghold) offers access to out of the way natural wonders. Whitewater Wash Nature Preserve, even closer, is a must for viewing migratory flocks of cranes and egrets. The Yaqui compound offers a comfortable place to be after a day or two of exploration. Simple, healthy breakfast items and coffee are provided, and snacks to go, start your day. Thankfully, this is not a chi-chi B&B. Instead, the Hideout offers a rustic setting, with a unique history, great night skies, a variety of animals, reasonable rates and art . . . all hosted with intelligence and care. Recommend it highly."
"Patrick and Bob were excellent hosts. Our room was very clean, the Yaqui Hideout had a fascinating history, and we had fun meeting the baby lambs and other fuzzy furry farm friends. Each morning was off to a great start with scones, muffins, fresh fruit, and yogurt. The view from the Hideout was spectacular in every direction. We really enjoyed our visit and would be happy to stay again at the Yaqui Hideout if we return to this area."
"We loved staying at the Yaqui Hideout! Bob is such a great host - he welcomed us when we arrived, told us to call/text him if we needed anything and gave us some great recommendations for the area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the homemade baked goods in the morning. Don't forget to check out the studio - I found a basket and lavender products that I just had to have. Short drive to Chiricahua NM, restaurants and wineries. If we travel in this area of Arizona again, we will definitely stay here again :)"
"I took my two daughters (10 & 12) here for one night for a little adventure. It looked like a great place online, but the reality exceeded expectations. The property is beautiful (even more so, I am sure, when the lavender is in bloom), the rooms are great, everything you need and then some. Patrick was a wonderful host, very accommodating and willing to walk the property with you, call the sheep over with extra food for the kids, and gave great recommendations for restaurants and other activities nearby. I highly recommend giving this place shot, whether it is with kids or just an adult get away, this property is worth visiting. We definitely plan to go back!"
"We had an incredible experience at the Yaqui Hideout! Patrick is an amazing host and made our visit nothing more than spectacular! The rooms Ave very comfortable, quiet and restful. Patrick have us great tips on dining. Adventure, and unique places to visit. I highly recommend the Yaqui Hideout and inquire about the basket weaving class!!"
