"I've been coming here for about 20 years now. Typically, very quiet and easy to get to. Most people camp at Boulder Beach, so this campground is underutilized. Be sure to say hi to Bob, one of the nicest and best campground hosts around. Sites have a picnic table, fire ring and adequate screening between most sites. There is a non-generator loop and two separate restroom facilities."
"Sites are small, but we managed to get our 31' fifth wheel into site #56. At least the sites are wide and nicely landscaped with bushes."
"No camphost, nobody enforcing any laws! Noisy, big, generators, some, running all day, evening, night! These campgrounds need to have better generator restrictions. Two hours a day, only!!! Use solar power in the desert!!! Also, some, people playing loud music, and their dogs barking constantly. Very Rude, and Disrespectful!! Please, be respectful of other campers!! You're not alone!! This is not your home!! You're a visitor, behave like one!! If you're staying over the weekend, it's even worse. Young people partying, with loud music all night until 5am, loud pick up trucks, with music, racing through the campground loops at 4am in the morning until 7am, terrorizing, campers!! I got 0 sleep one night! And, no park ranger to contact! You're on your own!! This campground is completely run down!!!"
"I try my best to write nice reviews but this one is difficult for even giving it a two star. My friend and I stayed here for two days, it’s definitely pricey, $20 per night for how awful it looks “ trashy.” The trees haven’t been cleaned up at all, there’s trash everywhere… the women’s bathroom was disgusting, no soap or paper towels. To pay you have to get online which is a hassle when the service is not good. Parking is annoying especially at night when there’s only a few spot that are big enough to fit a 16ft camper in. The camp host isn’t here, She’s 8 miles down the road. There is water and a dump site. No hookups. Definitely won’t be returning."
"Noisy dirty.. freeloaders everywhere. Extremely large bonfires.. thought I was an extra in the movie Independence Day. No security/ranger state park dude.. nobody seems to care. Neither do I anymore. Lake Mead recreation area SUCKS. Never thought I'd say that after 8 decades. ADIOS & BYE BYE."
