Staybridge Suites St George, an IHG Hotel

"My recent stay at the Staybridge Suites St George was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked into my spacious and spotless room, I knew I was in for a treat. The comfortable king-sized bed and plush pillows made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. And the bathroom? Absolutely divine! The large walk-in shower was a dream come true, with plenty of hot water and fantastic water pressure. But the real highlight of my stay was the breakfast buffet. Oh my, the breakfast buffet! Scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit... the list goes on and on! And the coffee? Freshly brewed and piping hot, just the way I like it. And let's not forget the staff! The front desk team were absolute rockstars, always ready to help with a smile. They even gave me some amazing recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems in the area. The hotel's location was perfect, too. Easy access to the freeway and plenty of parking made exploring the area a breeze. And the free parking? Just the cherry on top! Overall, my stay at the Staybridge Suites St George was pure perfection. I felt like I was home away from home, and I can't wait to come back. "Unsettling Experience with Armed Police Presence I am currently staying at this hotel and encountered an alarming situation. Armed police officers are consistently present throughout the hotel, including during breakfast, in the lobby, and in the hallways, creating a disconcerting atmosphere. What's even more concerning is that when I expressed my concerns to the hotel management and requested that they ask the officers to disarm within the hotel. Despite my fear for my safety, I received an uncooperative response from management, with the statement, "That's not gonna happen." Then a staff member went and summoned the police due to my complaints, even though I was not engaging in any illegal activity. I soon found myself surrounded by multiple police officers, some with their hands on their guns, questioning my guest status and attempting to solicit a trespassing complaint from management. I appreciate the hotel's decision not to pursue the trespass, but bringing the police over in the first place escalated the situation unnecessarily. The police went on to threaten me with various charges, call St George Police on me, and said they have thousands of dollars worth of equipment with them and if anything happens to it they will charge me with it. For those who prefer not to be around armed individuals, especially with children, I recommend inquiring about the presence of the Utah Highway Patrol at this hotel. The situation raises concerns about safety and the overall guest experience. In summary, I did not feel safe with 8-10 armed officers present in the hotel, and I believe the hotel should require ALL guests to be unarmed at all times when inside the hotel, which is well within the hotels right to do. Adopting this policy will ensure a more secure and comfortable environment for all guests."

"Great, new, clean condition of the room/building. My kids loved outdoor pool, which was super warm and hot tub was hot enough to relax my leg after canyon trail. The front desk was super friendly and informative. I would definitely stay here again, if I visit Zion canyon again!"

"Probably the best hotel in St. George! Everyone person who works here is kind and helpful. After being here a week, they really like talking to you and getting to know you. The pool is heated. Breakfast is great! They have diner/mixer on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. My kids enjoyed meeting other kids that were here. The bed was comfortable! Granted after a week, we were ready for our own bed. This bed was more comfortable than all the dozen airbnbs we have stayed in St. George. The separate bedroom attached to a main living area was perfect! Next time we come in February we will upgrade to the two separate bedrooms. Overall, great place to stay!!"

"I needed a comfortable place to stay for 1 night coming back from my vacation in Northern Utah. I picket this hotel because there was a room with a kitchenette available, because I like to make a cup of tea or coffee, and to have a sitting area, and I am so glad I did! The hotel seems new, my room was large, very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable with great pillows. The hotel is very close to the freeway, but somehow it’s very well soundproofed, because I slept like a baby even though my room was on the ground floor facing the freeway. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous, made me feel welcome."
